2003 XLT Heritage Edition 5.4 with 218,000+ miles - I'm the 3rd owner. Original engine, tranny, new plugs and COPs at about 210,000. Runs like a train

2003 Supercrew just hit 107,000 miles. Changed plugs and added a shift kit at 100K. Could use some ball joints due to oversized tires, but I expected that. Runs as good as a brand new one.

2004 Lariat is what I have. 5.4 3V.... Ive changed about 5 sensors and on COP. I took it to a mechanic that gave me a bull**** diagnosis and got me $900.00... So I decided to never let another mechanic touch my truck again. With all the help that all you guys offer here and the awesome advice I fix my own truck. Thanks guys!!! Oh she has a whopping 197000 miles!!!

100,000 Mile Club is a Indicator.

Hey guy's and gal's. you know I read about all this bragging feedback about your great high mileage, how you love your 150, well you have a right.
High millage is a good indicator or the owners loyalty and hard work keep that fire burning .
The F150online form is a great place to not only brag but to exchange ideas.
You work hard to buy your truck, you work hard to make her pretty, you are D-Man.

My 2000 Lariat with over 100,000 miles runs great. Oh yea it cost me now and then, I live on a little farm in eastern Virgina. I ask her to do some tough task now and then like moving an old 100' pine tree off the road way, pulled my 4x4 tractor out of a ditch, carry a couple deer to harvest well you get the picture.

At today's prices for a truck, I see no need to move on or up.
Gas prices are going up fast enough anyway. If you look at the total cost to operate a truck ( insurance, taxes, registration) it's cheaper to keep her.

A store bought truck is pretty. However, gives you no bragging rights.
A hot, clean looking old truck with high mileage brings you here, to brag my friend, do it with energy .

God bless our troops.

Im a oil change freak so I should make it into the club someday!
You have to remember, a large majority of those people that come here are those that are having some sort of problem, minor or otherwise. They come here for help from those of us that have found a solution to those issues already. Go to forums for Chevys, Rams, Toyotas, Nissans, or anything else, and you'll see the same cacophony of problems from owners who might love their particular flavor vehicle, but have run into a problem they can't figure out themselves.

Whose truck is best? Well, obviously, I say Ford - but then, I'm prejudiced. The Ford-Chevy battle has been waging for generations, and Mopar fans are noisy, too. Now Toyota and Nissan have joined the party, and are making their voices heard.

Enjoy your new truck for years to come!

97 with 100K+

I have a 97 that has around 140K on it.......absolutely nothing wrong with it! Amazing how long good trucks will run with the REGULAR MAINTENENCE that every vehicle should have. Still runs like a champ straight off the line......

Never tradin' my Ford
