My 01 F150, 5.4l, 2x2,super crew just turned over 250,000 miles! Best truck I have ever owned. Hope to get another 100,000 before retiring it. Rebuilt trani, upper and lower ball joints, rotors.

My old '03 Screw lariat was at 206,300 when I sold it, my new(to me) '06 ext cab lariat is at 207,800. Both are good trucks, wouldnt be afraid to take them cross country.

It is generally accepted that 100,000 miles is a measure of a good vehicle. My truck idles steady at 600 rpm and continues to pull hard.
As of this day......... 225,991. And, I still pull a 7x14 trailer with road race bikes to various states on an occasional basis.

Have a good one,
Pete

2004 F150 XLT Supercab, 5.4 3v with 226,000 miles......... hence the reason I lurk around this forum. Thanks for the all the tips.

My 2003 5.4L XLT Supercrew RWD just crossed 165,000. It's been solid for the last 8 years. Ramped a roundabout at a high rate of speed, hopped a few curbs, hit a few mailboxes, and the motor still runs great. Just replaced the intake manifold gaskets but hooked the wiring back up wrong on the starter relay switch like a newbie (fried two solenoids on the starter before I realized my mistake).
No problems with the transmission(did find a piece of a bracket on the magnet one time but runs smooth), power steering pump, fuel pump, water pump, starter, or alternator so far. Ford Recalled the fuel tank straps and replaced. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the originals but whatever.

Are there any other recalls on this model that I might have missed?

Recent maintenance includes 8 NGK iridium plugs, replaced dry-rotted spark plug boots(original Coil-packs), replaced some dry-rotted hoses, New Upper Control Arms w/ball joints, New Lower ball joints, New front wheel bearings, New front rotors, New Pads, New front and rear shocks, Fuel Filter, New transmission filter and fluid, New pinion seal, Fresh coolant, B&M differential cover, fresh gear oil, New wheel seals all the way around, new brake fluid, new intake manifold gaskets, a belltech rear sway bar, moog pitman/idler arms, tie rods, center link, and stainless steel headers.

Only things I have left to do are.

Buy and install a retractable bed cover, and maybe some rear leafspring supports.

Anybody got an extra nerf bar bracket by chance for the steprails like the ones shown? I'll buy it by paypal if you ship it to me. If you do message me.

My 2009 F150 Screw 4x4 just turned 102,000. The only issue I had with the truck was a bad TPMS sensor.

Just picked up an 06 F150 4x4 w/ 175k miles. This thing drives and shifts smoother than any F150 I can remember and I've had 3 others. Impressed is an understatement.

Well getting close to a year when mine hit the 100k mark it was August 27th in 2012 when I hit the mark. Currently I have 135k+ miles on my 05 F150 with the 5.4. Original plugs lasted until 131k.
