Official Lowered 4x4 thread
Thanks, stock engine, lightning blower, c & l intake, smaller upper pulley 10# boost, flowmasters, kenne bell boost-a-pump, stock heat exchanger. Just did that 2 weeks ago when I was doin the lowering. That is svt performance orange, pictures make it look red kinda. Lifted was a real eye catcher but I've owned a lightning in the past and that blower is a turn on!
Thanks the only emblem left is the ford emblem on the tailgate which I'm getting black chromed like my rear bumper and exhaust tips
Looks good, so if I am reading this correctly you lowered it 2" in the rear and 1" in the front?
I know my truck (2010) has blocks on the rear springs that I can remove, it appears to have struts in the front, is that what you changed?
Are there any ride or handling issues. I would like my truck to be a close to a two wheel drive as possible, I am not interested in slamming it on the ground.

I agree, his looks GooD! I want to do same. That switch on the dash with 2H, 4H, 4L on it doesn't know if it's raised or lowered.

I have a FX4 and I want to lower it. I bought the 4x4 because of snow reasons(I live in Manitoba where we have 6 mos. of winter), not off roading. I love my truck too much to beat it like that.
