Question

shocman,
Sounds like your dealer is really on top of his orders. My dealer never has any news unless I inquire. VOPC still says my SC was shipped via rail. (same message since 4/12) I booked a Line-X appointment Saturday-so I've probably jinxed myself out of a delivery this week.

------------------
2001 SuperCrew, 4x4 Lariat, Blue/silver, 5.4L Captains Chairs, 3.55LS, Moon Roof, Bed Extender, everything but the AV system & skid plates.(Ordered: 2/11/00, Build Date: Week of 4/10, Shipped via Rail 4/12, ETA date: April 28)

Planned Mods: Sprayed-On Bedliner-(LineX); Hard Tonneau or Retrax Rolltop cover, Fiberglass Cab steps (Ford) or SS nerf bars; Gibson SS Dual Sport Cat-back system; SuperChip; K&N Air intake kit; Clear back-painted bug-deflector; (& Maybe: SVT Lighting wheels and Michelin Pilot LTX 285.60/HR18 tires.)

It' here! It's here! It's here

Unfortunately, I'm not there. I'm in Arkansas and my truck is in Utah. Bummer!

Oh well, I get to see my baby on Saturday. Pics will be forthcoming next week.

Well, I FINALLY got more information out of the VOPC than Clean and Unscheduled. I now have a build date of May 22, with an ETA of June 5.

This is unbearable. When I stumbled across this site 5 weeks ago, it was full of people who were waiting for their SC's - and I felt a true brotherhood. Don't get me wrong, that feeling is still there, but now there is a whole heapin helpin of jealousy as some of you get your trucks.

12 WEEKS! I'm only half through it - and now I'm starting to see them on the road - those "less picky" than I buying the ones off the lot. It hurts ever time I see one.

congrats LRM! get home and stay home a little while so you can drive that truck!

jscharton,

we know your pain. on the bright side, at least WE can answer your questions first hand as opposed to the dozens of dealers we had to pick at for information. we're here for ya.

Thanks for the sentiment USAF K9. I'm always glad to be of assistance, if, indeed, I have been. I do what I can to relieve the suffering of others. Yes, I'm a true humanitarian :-) Unfortunately, until today, I have been among the sufferers. Misery loves company.

I still think I hold the record for longest wait. Ordered Jan 19. Truck arrived today, Apr 26. That is exactly 14 weeks. That's a looooooong wait. I'm sure it will be worth it.

I find it ironic, that after all this time, I step off a plane in Dallas, turn on my phone and there's a message from the dealer telling me my truck has arrived. It arrives, and I'm nowhere near.

You must have the record for the longest wait time - beat me by 10 days and I had to wait for ocean transport. You will enjoy the truck even more for the wait. If anyone deserves to enjoy it, you do for your help to all of us. For the various veterans of the board (if three months is a veteran) it does us all good as we see everyone eventually get their truck. I bet the dealers are going to miss K9's daily visits !

Enjoy your SuperCrew LRM.

Got a confirmed delivery date of 5/15 (see my other post) and my airline tickets in hand. 5/20...just 3 more weeks 'till I can drive her (for the duration of my Oregon/Montana vacation), then I'll have to wait for the barge to get to Hawaii.

Docker- There's still just one SuperCrew on this rock I call home!

My sympathy to all those who have been waiting a long time.I ordered March 14, build date April 10, delivered EARLY, April 20. Five weeks and five days total. I purchased 2001 harvest gold lariat 4x4, leather captains chairs, 5.4, limited slip, cab steps, skid plates, moonroof, towing package, bed extender. $30,906 = $100 over invoice.I have no explanation why I received mine so fast. Priority code was 10. I purchased from a small dealer in rural Illinois, Anderson Ford, Mike Fairfield is the internet sales manager. 2 1/2 hour drive from St. Louis Mo. 3 hours from Chicago IL. It was well worth the drive, there was no funny business at time of delivery. 400 miles so far and I love this truck!!!

howdy everybody,i've been gone for a while. and yep, i'm still waiting .ordered on 2-17,build date, week of 4-24,delivery date 5-15.this sucks, thought by ordering the truck you might expect too see it before thousands rolled onto the lots,NOT......ok, my medication is working now and i feel much better. i feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to even be considered a worthy enough american too order a truck.and better yet,to have been handled with such care and consideration by ford motor co. has no equal.. JUST GET ME MY F-IN TRUCK... OH, pardon me there must have been a glitch in the medication. as i was saying, the priviledge has been all mine. to have experienced want and waiting makes the appreciation of the vehicle all the more better.BUT I CANT APPRECIATE SOMETHING I CANT TOUCH, SO,GET ME MY F-IN TRUCK.... OH,I'M SO SOORY I HOPE I DID'T SCARE YOU, ANOTHER GLITCH,PLEASE EXCUSE ME. so while we pay exorbadant amounts for our trucks we're. treated like a criminal when we call and ask ford for info about your hi priced vehicle.it makes me sick to think that the delears hold all the aces in this arena, and we're the pawns that really do pay the ultimate price. you pay,you wait, you'll get the info when you get your own dealership.the attitude stinks, but hey i love that f-in truck.... bring it home honey............ooooooh yeeeeah!!!!!! OK, i've been waiting three months, and.... i've had to drive a "CHEVY S-10" EEEEEEW!!! SO I HOPE YOU ALL WILL ALLOW ME THE LATITUDE TO VENT AND WON'T BURN ME AT THE STAKE IN LATER POSTS, SORRY BUT, THANKS FOR BEING THERE TOO.

Three here as far as I can tell but I haven't seen any except mine. Really enjoying it - just over 1000 miles - so far no problems. I'm sure the dealer will be less than friendly as it is a mainland truck if I show up for warranty work!

Enjoy your vacation.

Rick,

What a post! I think you just summed up what many of us have been thinking, feeling and screaming since we placed our orders.

I'm calmer now just from reading your post and knowing that I'm just one of many impatient, under-medicated, SuperCrew FANATICS!

What a gas this whole experience has been. My estimated delivery date is May 15. I'm placing my order tomorrow for an A.R.E LS Series II hard tonneau cover. Was quoted $741.84 including installation and Illinois Sales Tax - It's just one more thing to obsess over.

If I icq one more picture of one of your guy's SuperCrews to my girlfriend, she's gonna divorce me.

Mazilis, would love to see or hear your girlfriends reaction when you start planning your weekends around washing your truck...
and waxing your truck... and modifying your truck... But then again she may love your truck too!
