It's good to know I'm not the only one waiting till hell frezes over to get my supercrew! I ordered on Feb 29th and it hasn't even been scheduled yet. I did find out that my order had a priority # 10 and that it kept being pushed back by the low priority #. A friend pulled some strings today and got the priority moved up to a # 2. Does anyone know how high priority #'s go? Also curious if the dealer assigns the priority # or if order processing does? Thanks for all the moral support as we all huddle together waiting for the big day. Also wondering if anyone has a picture of a crew in silver? Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about your wait. I ordered Feb/28 and received May 12. I believe the best the dealer can do is a priority 10; anything lower comes from somewhere else -factory or VOPC. I've seen priorities as high as 40 in these posts. What's your dealer's allotment? Did you order the entertainment system or the top three option package (bug shield, bedliner and steps)? These are the only options I know of which were late availability, and they could be the cause of the delay.
Hope things speed up for you.
PS: Checked VOPC today, and my truck is finally out of the system, 6 days after it arrived at the dealership.

No special options on the truck. Just tow package, keyless entry, 3.55 limited slip and captains chairs. My dealer has only two allotments but the friend who got the priority # changed they would schedule them for three for the next cycle. I'm pretty sure the biggest problem was that I ordered under the x-plan at a big discount. Ford is not making any money off me so they have no incentive to put my order in front of a full priced truck. As an interesting note - Ford exempted the supercrew from the x-plan as of March 15 so I can't get the discounted price on any other unit except the one now on order. I was on vacation last week and I drove past 5 Ford dealerships with silver supercrews sitting in the front row. It was painful to say the least, knowing that they are all just sitting there and that I can't buy one. I think I would be insane by now if it was not for realizing everyone had to wait as well. Congratulations on getting yours. I will try to live vicariously through your enjoyment!

 

OK, I've been reading these posts for a couple of weeks. Called 1-800 VOPC # and entered 5-digit dealer code, option 2 and entered order number. Says my build date is scheduled May 22nd. When can I expect my SC? Already sold my other truck, and other dealer offers on lot inventories are starting to sound good.

Not to add insult to injury, but I ordered through the Z-plan (son of a Canadian retiree). Is the x-plan for parts suppliers?

Interesting twist: I had my PIN # at the time of ordering, but a few days after taking delivery the slaesman phoned to say that there was no record of the PIN # in the system. I now have to go through the whole approval process again. Yet I also took delivery of a 2000 Windstar between the time of ordering the Suprecrew and picking it up, without any problems at all. I hope I can get that PIN # after taking delivery - we'll find out tomorrow.

X-plan is the Ford Executives discount plan. It can be granted by any Ford executive to any person they deem appropriate. It is designed to be used to encourage high profile, celebrity types into driving/advertising Fords products. I am neither high profile nor celebrity but was granted the plan by a Ford Executive.

My friend who made the call to Ford Customer service managed to do the impossible. My truck went on the schedule for the week of June 5th. That means a delivery around the 25th of June. That is 5 months from order date to delivery. I am relieved to finally get it on the schedule. Much longer and I fear my impression of Ford would have been forever tarnished.

 

I thought X Plan was for eXternal vendors. As a 3M employee, they've really been pushing/advertising this to us for the last few months.

Of course, as soon as I start to investigate (late Feb) - they've already excluded the SCrew. However, I do have a local dealer willing to give me the X Plan Price (approx 1% less than invoice, as near as I can estimate). Unfortunately, my SCrew is to be built this week - ordered from another dealer - and I don't relish the thought of starting a 12 week wait all over again. I've already got him to $100 over invoice, but I'm hoping he'll deal a little, as I've been a good little customer...

Per the VOPC, by build date is week of May 22nd (Don't know exactly what day completed) and scheduled date of arrival is week of June 12th. Don't know what priority since I reserved this truck from incoming inventory. Found after visiting several dealers and was the same color and options I wanted. Also, got 3% over invoice and locked in int.rate @ CU prior to increase in prime. As of Thursday, actual invoice had no arrived at dealer. Just have order receipt acknowledgement. How do I find out priority and what does it mean to me?

At this point I don't believe priority code means anything to you, your truck should built be on the way via rail. The priority code determines how fast it gets on the build line and seems to have something to do with the dealership size or allocation. Priority 10 seems to be the fastest. My truck was built this week and is on the train per the VOPC, should be in St.Paul by the week of June 5th.

My dealer called this evening. My SCrew is in fully a week ahead of schedule! Nerf bars (MidAmerica Black) and Bug Deflector (Free) should be on when I go to pick it up.

Just got to bide my time a little longer. My wife is SOOO glad - she thinks I'll be able to start thinking about other things, now.

Ordered 3/17/00, arrived at dealer 5/29/00. 10 weeks with a Priority 10 on the DORA.

I was going to post this reply yesterday and if I had done so, my message icon would have been different. Truck DORA was processed on 3/13, scheduled on 4/26, build week per VOPC was week of 5/22, but yesterday my dealer told me it had been bumped to week of 5/29(DAMN IT!). Called VOPC this morning and said "unit had been completed 5/30 with ETA week of June 12"! I know that's the worst case scenario and it's only coming from KC to Dallas. I'm rounding the turn headed into the home stretch!!

Planned mods: SS nerf bars, Line-X liner, hard tonneau cover, bug deflector, spare & wheel locks,etc.,etc.,etc.
