Yes, the VOPC line works in Canada the same as in the States. I've been using it for a month now. I'm currently in Montreal, and when I phone the number I now get a French response. Nonetheless, the system works. When promted for A or B dealer, push the appropriate button, 1 or 2. Then when promted for the dealer # enter the 4 digit number.

Thanks for the reply Waltesa. Because the build date was yesterday there may have been a delay in getting on the system. I will try again today or tomorrow. I hope there are no more delays. It would sure be a lot easier buying off the lot. Getting antsy.

Scheduled to be delivered week of May 15, but the dealer tells me this is a worst case senario, and it should be here sooner than that.
April 29 - Arrived at ramp!!!!(Buffalo or Detroit or Windsor?)
May 3 - Still not at Dealer - St. Marys Ford, St. Marys Ontario, halfway between Windsor and Toronto.

Are you going to be able to post pics? It was great seeing USAF's Wedgewood XLT, but I am dying here wanting to see a Lariat.

Seems to me that the v.o.p.c. updates twice per week on tues and thurs. I've heard they update only once on tues. but this past thurs (5/04) mine went from clean and unscheduled and not serialized to being serialized. Anybody know what that means? Maybe there is a v.i.n. now. My dealer told me 11-12 weeks for delivery.

I ordered mine on 4/22 and by 4/27 the message had changed from "clean and unscheduled" to "scheduled to be built week of May 22". Message hasn't changed since 4/27.
To those who have traveled this road already...am I in good shape?! Expect delivery in early June?

I ordered on 3/17/00. Build date is supposed to week of 5/22/00 and delivery the week of 6/05/00. I think it comes to about 11 weeks - too darn long!
AV Ford looks like that have a good pull - they have about a dozen on the lot at any one time - and my priority off the DORA was a 10. Hate to see how long it would have taken if I would have had a lower priority!
