USAF K9: You have, apparently, seen every Supercrew on the west coast. Since mine continues to be delayed, go see an Amazon Green/Silver Frost XLT 4WD with medium graphite 60/40 front bench and tell me how good it looks. All I can find here is Oxford White and Chestnut.

I think your theme song is "Standin' on a Corner Watchin' all the [trucks] go by." A worthy pursuit for sure. If my wife thought I was watching girls, I'd be a dead man.

Cool

USAF K9:

Yeah, I saw that article back in January. I still have it bookmarked since it is the only Amazon Green Supercrew I have "seen." I saw a couple of F150 Supercabs on a local dealer lot yesterday that were the Amazon Green/Silver Frost combo, so I have a good idea what it looks like. They also had a silver Expedition with the 10-spoke 17 inch wheels. If I put all the pieces together in my mind, it looks darn good! However, nothing beats the real thing!!!

The wait is getting harder. A least my stock options are again increasing in value so the wait is worth it for now

VOPC latest update says our truck is released from the plant as of 3/21. So it's built and hopefully on the way! Latest delivery date given is week of 4/3. I dont think I can wait 2 more weeks I'm almost out of vallium.

CREW-
Relax, it will be here before you know it. (I keep saying that but hasn't helped me much Mine released 3/14 and out via rail according to VPOC. Curious, does VPOC show any further update or once it leaves the factory VPOC is done? Just wondering whether it ever says...at rail terminal......arriving at dealer on such and such day...etc.

LOL crewchief. Carly Simons, Anticipation, should be our theme song on this board.

USAFK9, it sounds like our trucks might be delivered about the same time. We should start a Northern Cal supercrew meet..

re VOPC
For mine they said it was shipped by rail carrier then later "arrived at ramp" (? local distributor?) then "delivered to destination."

Isn't the wait unbearable as it gets so close?

So Docker, they are gonna string us along all the way to the end huh? This better be one long lasting truck because I dont think I want to do this again! My wife says this is what it was like going through pregnancy. Yeah, easy for her to say!

Docker-
Oh S#*^, figured that might be the case. So far same message of "left on the 14th". Hopefully it will arrive at the terminal (??) soon. Funny, I haven't traveled for my job the last 6 months. Guess when I am slated to be states away?....the week the truck comes in!! Of course the dealer has no closed storage...did swear no test drives or no customers messing with it. I may have to be real "sick" that week!!

Great site! Like the rest, I've been worse than a kid at Christmas waiting for my new S'Crew. LRM & Docker, thanks for the VOPC info-- I actually called Ford to see if any such tracking system existed; they said no! I finally got confirmation mine was to be built this week (3/20); the dealer also called to say anticipated delivery is 4/10. (Actually said "right on schedule"-- although when I placed the order in early Feb, he stated an early March delivery...) I feel like Crewchief's recent posting-- do you have any recommendations on meds??

USAF K-9, I'm jealous-- I still haven't seen one outside of pictures on the web. Got nervous-- a buddy just bought that Dodge 4-door cab-- what an ugly vehicle! Glad to hear the S'crew is as sharp as it appears in all the pics I've seen!

Oh- BTW- 4x4 Lariat, deep wedgewood, med. graphite leather captains, moonroof, 6-disc, skid plates, ltd. slip, 5.4l, sliding rear window; $400 over cost; replacing a 92 F150 XLT regular cab, long box.

Wink

Waiting for our Supercrews is like going through pregnancy???? If that's the case, I'm not looking forward to the labor pains. Just imagine the stretch marks. I'm opting for Ceasarean.

At least with a baby, I always had a fairly good idea as to the actual delivery date and I was surprised early on all four orders; none of these delivery and production delays like with our trucks. Of course, the one major difference is that, with a baby, I was always more certain of the delivery date than I was the order date. Sometimes I had to place several orders before one was accepted by the system

Well, at least with the VOPC line, you can get some confirmation of the change in build & delivery status without calling the dealer everyday. When I ordered my Mustang Cobra back on December 2 '95, I really didn't get much info. until it was delivered in early Feb. '96.

I FINALLY GOT A BUILD DATE!!!!!

Stopped by the dealer and the print out still showed "TBD". However, he called VOPC and they had just updated my order to a build date of the week of April 24th (almost 2 months after ordering). At least delivery times look better. The first two to arrive took 4-5 weeks. Most recent arrived 3 weeks after build date.
