I ordered through the military on 1/25. Was told by them the truck was built 4/3. They say the truck will be delivered by 5/05 to Green Valley Ford in Fairfield, CA.

I stopped by Green Valley today and the agent I'm working through said it takes 14 days for delivery.

As you mentioned, I find it hard to believe the truck would sit around for that long. Obviously we will find out in time.

 

USAF K9 and John in Cal, you guys should get together in Roseville and watch for the train to come through town. Think of all the Supercrews that come by your house everyday!!

I'm sitting here as patiently as I can with my cordless phone in my hand waiting for a call from my dealer .

According to VOCP, it "arrived at the ramp" on 3-31-00. I talked to one of VOCP's analist on the phone last week and she told me it was do at the dealer on the 6th. The ramp is only 1 1/2 hours from my dealer.

I haven't posted this yet but this is the second SuperCrew that I have waited for. The first one I ordered on November 4th. When my dealer got a copy of the invoice on Feb 3rd., the limited slip axle and the moonroof were not on it. My copy of the order was correct. My dealer ordered another one that day and also tried to add the axle and the moonroof back on the first order.

I went to the dealer on the 18th of Feb. to check on the status of the first truck and while I was there, the first truck came in.
Of course the moonroof and limited slip axle didn't make the order . It was very hard to walk away from it. But I want it to be the way I wanted it.

So now I'm hoping that this one comes in OK. My dealer has the invoice and everything is on it. I sold my old truck, so I really need for this one to come in OK.

I think it is worth the wait to get the truck exactly how you want it.

Tell me about it. I live in Roseville. Everytime we drive over The trainyard, I point out the car carriers to the kids and tell them our truck will be there someday.
Then I go by a couple of days later and it's still sitting there. Talk about gridlock.. :>

 

VOPC reports that my truck is locked in for production next week and that estimated delivery to the dealer is the week of May 1. Dare I believe? Might my baby actually be full term and delivered within a month? It's already been a 2 1/2 month wait, so, I remain skeptical until I actually lay eyes on my truck.

 

Well it took 9 weeks to the day and my SuperCrew is in my garage.

MY DEALER ALSO JUST TOLD ME THAT I HAVE A DELIVERY DATE OF APRIL 22. ORDERED SINCE 1/29/00.
HE GAVE IT 12 DAYS FOR DELIVERY. I GUESS THAT IS PRETTY CLOSE FOR TRANSPORT TO CENTRAL NEW JERSEY.

4DOOR,

Today is the third day that I've had the truck. It is a great truck. I thought it was perfect until I washed it today and found some rub marks on the hood. It shouldn't be any problem, I think they will be able buff them out.

I live about 30 minutes out of Charlotte out in the country.

I will be adding and changing pictures on my web sight and I'll also be putting in some notes about the SuperCrew as I find things about it. So you might want to check back every once in a while.

I think a few people have abandoned the SuperCrew message board since they got there truck. I'm going to try to hang around to help out if I can.

4Door, I ordered my SC from a dealer south of Houston, TX near Galveston Island (MCree Ford). The dealer stated that it might come in a few days earlier or later then 17 of April.

 

Finally I got an ETA: May 1st. It's taking
11 + weeks. Does anyone know if they arrive earlier/later than the ETA?

Same here for the 11 week wait!!!!! Ordered mine on 1/29/00 and have a delivery date to dealer by April 20.
I saw you have a blue/silver combo while mine is just solid wedgewood blue. Have similar build dates so i guess ours were built around the same time.
It's about time they started to make some blue supercrews, havn't seen one yet!!!
The wait is almost over.
