05 Screw bought in March, now has 6k on it and has been back to the dealer for poor shift quality (fixed with re-flash), and now is in for the 4th time to fix the 4WD. 4WD worked when it was bought. Tried it a couple of weeks ago...no worky. Went to dealer and they got it functional but then the 4wd Hi light didn't come on (4WD low light does). Replaced switch twice and thought they had it working. Tried it again today and no light in high, but the 4wd still works. HOWEVER...now I have no A/C.....Grrrrrrrr!!!!

65000 miles on 4.6L 2wd.....NO problems

Rear window seal was replaced under warranty. That's it. Seriously. I love this truck. Oh, and the cherry on top is 19.4 mpg since new. Sure, it's mostly highway, and I drive pretty slow, but I'm happy with that!

126K miles, Rear window was a major problem ruined my Headliner looks like **** now, only major things have been several alternators in on my 5th in 3 years I actually bought a new one w/ a lifetime warranty, the factory Alternator lasted for 4 rebuilds until it grenaded sending parts everywhere. Replaced a set of vaccum hoses and had a tranny slipping problem that seems to have been cured for now. The only thing that has me bothered is the zing from the starter not engaging the flexplate.

The most recent and prominent issue has been oil usage, about 1 quart every 2-3 weeks, it was 2 quarts a week for some stupid reason but it dropped off to around 1 quart every 6K miles with synthetics I don't use syn anymore I'm not rich enough for that. This engine needs to be re-ringed or I need to purchase a new engine thats ready to be dropped in.

85K miles on it now. The only trip to the dealer was for the cruise recall. I have had zero problems with the truck. The factory battery finally gave out a few days ago - 6 years on a factory battery in the AZ heat is pretty impressive.

new noise

2004 Screw 4x4 69k miles. Developed a new noise, a high pitched whine associated with the rev of the engine while in gear. Ford mechanic doesn't hear it..figures
But no problems yet.

2001 screw 5.4 4x4

i have 133,000 on mine and have done new coil pacs, new oem exhaust, altenator... runs mint ...minus this little problem with the 4 wheel drive. i have a loose front axle, i read up on it and think it's the cv joint. it makes a clunk/ small grind noise progressivly worse with speed ... truck still goes down the road straight and runs fine. if anyone knows what is wrong with my baby please help.

thanx Nacman
p.s. thank u all for driving American ...even you poor chevy guy's.. ha ha

2002 F150 supercrew 4X2 70500 miles

70,500 miles of which 95 percent are highway miles.
Only two problems (knock on wood) thus far - rear clutches went out in limited slip differential but were replaced at no cost as still had 100 miles left on warranty at the time. Three months ago had to have the upper ball joints replaced.
