Looking good, if I were to keep my 05 I would be in the same boat having it repainted. Can't wait to see it shining again.

I'm planning on doing it to mine in a few years. I'll have all my exterior mods done in the next year or two, so the entire truck can be redone and any little dings repaired.

Looks great!

Thanks fella's. I have yet another series of mods in the works. It involves POLK DXI's and DB series, Toxic, Audiobahn, Kenwood DVD, kick panels, fiberglass and a revamped audio system pushing close to 1500 watts RMS. It's about sound Q, not to concerned with breaking the sound barrier or windows...lol. No worries, The Audiobahn's are old school and are not the newer crap. these have dual 50 amp fuses and the other has dual 25's or 30's if I remember right.... I may even do a write up to help others contemplating doing this kind of stuff. Door panels, kick panels....when does it stop???? IT DOESN'T!!! LMAO

Hmmmm... I LOVE kick panels! LOL! I just can't bring myself to do them in this truck yet... Best of luck to you on the audio revamp bro! I found your thread here and have been going back reading through it and looking at all the pics. You sure weren't lying man. It's been a labor of love.

I just love the overall look, style, and stance of your truck. Just like you had mentioned, I loooove a girl with curves... LOL! She's a damn sweet truck John and look forward to keeping up with the build. IMO, if you really love your ride and to mod, they're never done.... And that's half the fun.

My 06 has paint peeling off the very top of one door (very small, but annoying and concerning) and on the hood where it hits the fender, but on the inside. So she too will need a respray when I get out of school!

Progress looks good! I think it's gonna look transformed when it's done

Strangely enough my last truck, an 06 Harley F150, had the same problem at the top of the door. Just one spot, maybe a couple of square inches, flaked right off... EXTREMELY annoying...

Yeah, what the hell? I'm gonna put some touch-up paint on it to try and hold the edge of the paint down. Hopefully it wont get any worse. I bought the truck March 2012 and didn't notice that then so I don't know if I'm the one that caused that or not.

Hmm . . . well if I put it 10" up in the air, no one will be able to see it!

Is there a "right" way to fix it other than getting the whole door repainted?
