Yeppers.. NorCal color mixed up the urethane and put it in an aerosol can for me. I get shop pricing so it didn't hurt the wallet to bad.

Well the time has come! The truck goes in for a crap load of work at the paint shop next week. My list is long but will share a few things with you guys.
PTM grill surround, front bumper. Repaint rear bumper and mirrors with the higher quality paint. Smooth out the Roof leaving only the rain channels left. Fix every ding and dent. Fix a couple of cracks in the fiberglass hood.

I'm new to the forum but I've been following your build for a while now. Great things you've done in the past and amazing job on the recent stuff you've done. I really miss my 02 and 03 f150's which imho are the best body styles Ford's done.

I agree. I like a girl with curves. Everything these days is blocked and flat sides. that and with everything that's been done she got 24.8 MPG when I went to Oregon to visit my sister cruzing at 75 mph.

I'm thinking aero dynamics. Has to be. I'm obsessive with preventative maintenance. Change plugs once a year oil every six months. I really don't drive her much maybe 4 thousand a year. Matter of fact when she gets back from the paint shop in a month she needs a tranny flush...lol

Did you ever recalibrate after the smaller tires?

I didn't need to. when I went to the 295/45/18 i also swapped out the rear end to 9.75 with 3.55's which put everything back to perfect.

Yep. every ding, scratch and factory issue will be addressed. I wanted to smooth out the roof but that cost a boatload of time. The grill surround, bumpers basically all the PTM stuff too.

Whew! I doubt you planning on getting rid of her any time in the near future, but I'd say she just had her life extended! Haha

It's gonna look great when it's done. You'll have to update your sig pic too. The chrome always looked just a tad off to me, but now it's gone and I wanna see! Haha

Who knows, Maybe I get another shot at TOTM.... lol
To many haters to ever win that one..hahaha
I have no plans to get rid of her. She's been good to me and I reward her with new stuff..lmao
I've been through alot of bad crapy times and I can always count on her to get my mind off of stuff
whether I spinning a wrench or on a mountain road course with the tunes up.

I just asked BlueJay earlier if trucks can be re entered for TOTM, especially after big changes, and he said not yet but maybe when we run out of new trucks. I think we're pretty close to that point, so maybe the mods will stick your girl back in there!

I'm planning on keeping my truck indefinitely, but I'm young and don't know what the future will hold for me as far as whether or not that will be possible. I can't see my 2006 being worth much in 5 years. I consider anything around $5k or less being pretty much worthless, so I hope I can keep it while I buy I new daily driver. It would be a hard sell with all the mods I've done to it anyway! I'd be seeing a negative return on the money invested

Once a year nominations for TOTM. I helped make that rule when I was on the moderation staff here, when I brought up having the contest here.
