Oh, it definitely seemed like he meant one nomination ever. Either way it doesn't affect me cause I haven't been nominated. Only got crappy pics up haha

TOTM is but a dream and would never be a reality. I should start a different user name, get a plain jane truck and put a leveling kit on it....rotflmao

On a serious note I went to the shop today. They got the a$$ cheek dents out that where on the roof from the kids screwing around and no more rust on it either. I helped out on the hood cause I can't not be a part of this deal. Fixed a few cracks in the glass. She getting there.

Hey, heavily modified vehicles are an acquired taste! Simple trucks appeal to more people

Times have changed I guess. My era was all about custom. Not hum drum mundane look like every other vehicle. Dare to be different and make a statement.

I don't know how the rest of the country is, but in Houston, a lot of people copy each other. The worst are (granted, not my crowd) the ones that have the chariot/"swangers" wheels that stick way out. One guy decided that those were cool, and EVERY other person copied him. Same thing happened with "blades" wheels. I'm sure some other things qualify, but those stick out (pun intended) to me because of the huge numbers of people that copy each other on purpose.

I sometimes shy away from things that I see every one with. Some mods are cool and a lot of people have them, and I do too. But I'd never buy XD Rockstars because of how many people have them. I love black and machined wheels, like Fuels and BMFs, but so many people have then now.

Believe me I know what your talking about. What about the clowns with 26 to 30 inch wheels on 79 Caddi's, escalades and so on. I think it makes their cars look like wild west wagons and need horses out front...lmao.

I see those extra large rims all the time here. Crown vic's and similar vehicles make me laugh every time.

Don't have forget that those CARS have to be LIFTED to fit those 30" rims, that's the best part! Also can't forget the $10k candy paint jobs on those cars that are worth mmm $3k? On a good day

Update. The roof got striped to bare metal and they said It had a$$ cheek dents on it. I didn't notice it myself. I didn't really look to hard at the roof in a long time because the flaking paint pissed me off so bad...lol But I know a couple of kids that are gonna get interrogated very soon...hahaha Anyway, all the little dings on the doors and front fenders are no more and they were getting the grill surround prepped. I am gonna go by there tomorrow to get some more pics.

Sounds good! So if you do this every 12 years, she'll never need a restoration! She'll stay brand new for her whole life haha
