Thanks Bro, I appreciate it. I've been trying to dodge the heat but my eyes have been full of sweat and my Ol lady bitched about my new found cologne. Stank..lol
I'm pretty much done. Made some adjustments but have yet to drive her and see what she's got. I know from a few test burps that the ported box made a huge difference
along with subs that can handle 3 times more power. My subs X over setting is 100HZ with a 12db slope and the subsonic set at about 20HZ, Mids and Highs are at 80HZ
with a 12 db slope. Very clear bass and I also made adjustments to my DSP settings. This Kenwood is like a mini computer..lol The overall sound is ridiculous and something
I'm proud of. Alot of work and thought went into this. Imagine the best concert you could dream of and the put yourself front row center and then bump the bass up till your nuts
bounce off the seat... yeah like that..lol

My wife and I went for a drive. The bass **** is all the way down because the wife says it vibrates her brains and hurts her ears
The volume is way down too. I will make another Video when I get a chance. To review the install. It has 8 x 6.5 Kicker KS's,
6 x Polk Audio DB 1001's tweeters,2 x 1.75 Titanium Bullet tweeters, 3 x 12" Skar Audio 12EVL12D2's, Skar Audio 1 X RP150.4AB
and 1 X RP2000.1D
I did some tweeking to the DSP settings and DB slopes. Its not Perfect yet but getting there. When I first started this build I had never
used Kicker KS series Coax speakers, but have been pleasantly surprised by their output. I'm using 8 x 6.5" Kicker KS, 6 x Polk Audio
DB1001 1" silk dome tweeters, 2 x Skar Audio VX200-ST 1.8" Bullet Tweeters and 3 x 12" Skar Audio EVL 12D2. The Mids and Highs are very
clear and can be heard even when I start turning the bass ****. The Amplifiers are Both Skar Audio. The Mids and Highs are ran by the
RP-150.4AB wired to 2 ohms x 4. The Subs are ran by a RP-2000.1D wired to 1.33 ohms.
I've been really busy working on projects. Front camera, larger radiator, tranny cooler, E-fans, redoing some battery terminals and routing, and a nice Cervinis hood.
Some more pics of the install and stuff. The fan controller has 2 Negative triggers, 1 for manual over ride on and 1 for manual over ride off. I wired the fan off over ride for when I'm on the highway. I used a positive trigger through a relay to activate negative to each circuit. the AC trigger is a gray wire with white stripe. I have front and rear heater core and the larger radiator It took 3 gallons of antifreeze. I use 2 radiator flushes for about a week. I took the 2 rear heater hoses loose in the engine bay and flushed both heater cores and back flushed the block. I installed a new motorcraft water pump and thermostat since I was in there any way. I scrubbed and cleaned the over flow tank and made it look close to new. I'll get a picture of that later. I also had to modify the air diverter from the lower grill opening in the valance. I bonded 1.5 inch metal to the bottom of the opening then formed sheet metal from that up to the original rubber diverter. I opt'ed to not drill holes in the hood and did the same window squirter modification as I did on the white truck. I modified the wiper cowl and moved them there. I drilled a hole in the fire wall and ran the washer fluid line into the wiper cowl area through a round body bushing and used all the same factory hardware for the squirters. On the hood, I got a screaming deal on Ebay. LMR put it on there because there was a small amount of damage to both rear corners like it had been dropped. I bought it and was able to repair the damage in about 45 minutes. The other thing was that Cervinis no longer puts the speed grill in the scoop openings. But 15 bucks and a hour or so got the job done. I basically formed the grills and used kitty hair glass to glue them in place. I painted the hood myself in my backyard and prayed that not to many bugs would get into it. I color sanded it and buffed it out. Its not perfect but for the price I got it all done for about a 1/3 of the price.

here are some pics of the hood painted and installed. I am going to be installing R1 Concepts Drilled rotors and ceramic pads and a Gibson exhaust too. I will post pics as I go.

I got some more things done. I didn't like the subs sticking out when opening the rear hatch. I made a grill for them to sub-do and retain a semi stock appearance. I also wire up my switches into the overhead console. My wife says it looks like a helicopter ****pit..lol I tore the dash apart and soldered the bad connection for the odometer and trip mileage. I replace the knee panel underneath the steering wheel for the one with the pocket. It's a much better set up for the bass **** then what I had going on.
I have been dealing with the radiator fans cycling every minute or so for about 15 seconds each time. I tracked the problem down to the temp sender that was in the radiator fins.
To solve this I went to a Glowshift 1 3/4 hose coupler adapter and installed a flex-alite inline 2 wire temp sender. Readjusted the fan turn on temp. I have it adjusted based off my
laser temp probe to 200* and it shuts off 15* cooler. Everything seems to be working perfectly now.
Well John, I have to say, you just don’t stop brother! I’ve been out of the loop for a while, but just got all caught up on your build threads. Not surprised, LOL! But definitely impressed. The F150 is so meticulously done up and the Expy is really coming along nicely. Hat’s off to you sir. 👍
Thanks Judson, I'm in the middle of Installing my new LSD, bearings and seals. I'm also installing my new Hitch. The Tacoma we used for towing our trailer and hauling our kayak's got destroyed by my stepson when he was driving and texting simultaneously. The Tacoma was at the losing end when he rear ended another SUV. Needless to say, there was denials, and no thought of financial reimbursement which means me and his mom are SOL. Lesson learned, needless to say our other vehicles will never be loaned out. My truck and Expedition are in anyone's wildest dreams if they think I would ever think of it or consider it.
I would say the hood weight is a wash. Stock hood is aluminum and the Cervinis hood fiberglass. I added my own speed grill for the scoops. My lady helped me put it on with ease. The radiator hose adapter is a little small, I had to crank the clamps down more then normal. I'm thinking of getting a 48 or 50mm adapter. Our upper hose is supposedly 1 3/4 hence the 44mm, but the middle part of the hose appears to be a little bigger. The adapter comes with a 1/8 NPT so I drilled it out and tapped it for the 1/4 NPT. Easy Peazy.
