Just a couple more pics. I haven't got to my hood yet and I need to work out what I'm going to do for entry lights at night. I have a few ideas involving COB LED's mounted to the under side pointing down.
It's been a while so I got another thing knocked off my list of things to do to my Expedition.
I added a monster Northstar Group 31 AGM battery to the back and wired in a 500 amp relay
and the fuses.
My fiberglass hood was a non-functional Cervinis. I drove in the rain and water got to my number 6 coil causing a dead cylinder.
I replaced the coil and engine is purring again. I had to come up with a permanent solution to this problem. I ended up using
a contour gauge and created a cardboard mold of what I wanted. I covered it in masking tape and laid fiberglass in the mold.
With minimal tools I fabricated a air catch/ diverter to move cold air directly to my CAI. Amazingly enough it made a huge
difference going down the freeway. Hills that usually required a downshift no longer need it. At freeway speed I barely have to
touch the gas peddle. For whatever reason my Expedition Is loving it. I should of taken more pictures but my phone and fiberglass
resin is a bad idea. I still want to perfect it a bit more when the weather is warmer. My next little project will be to figure out the
factory mercury switch and some LED lighting under the hood.

Yeah, It basically made it functional ram air. The air filter is sectioned off from the heat of the engine and this put the air
right over top of the large conical filter.
I've been ordering materials for my upgrades to my Audio and charging system electrical. The crap adds up pretty quik. I have all new RCA's, 1/0 welding cable for power,
new ANL fuse blocks, wire ferrules, heat shrink, Battery terminals, double 1/0 to 1/0 amp power adapters. There's alot more but can't remember off the top of my head. I will
be installing a Skar Audio SKV bass **** to a new Skar Audio RP3500 replacing the RP2K that is in there now. I will also be adding a Cerwin Vega digital epicenter. I'm pretty
sure I have everything I need but as usual life gets in the way and I can't work on in right now. As soon as I get time to start on some of the Electrical I will post up Pics. I did
buy a new Main battery that is far superior to my wore out Walmart group 65. I ended up getting a Odyssey Extreme ODX-AGM65. Odyssey took over Northstar Batteries and
upgraded the entire Odyssey line of Batteries. All of the power and grounds will will be upgraded to 2 runs of 1/0. My alternator is almost 400 amps on top of my new Amplifier
will be fused at 350 amps hence the improvements.
I've been working on the house and been pretty busy. The other day it was raining so I was able to retrofit my headlights. To be honest it was so easy I should
of done this years ago when Morimoto first came out with the H1 mini retrofit kits. I bought brand new housings and put them in the oven at 220 degrees for 12 minutes.
I used a screwdriver to pry them apart. As they opened up I used a small screwdriver to grab the stringy adhesive so it wouldn't get on the inners of the headlight. Be careful
not to get any on the assembly because you will destroy the housing trying to get the goo off. the LED halos and projector retrofit kit are from the retrofit source. I opted for
55 watt 6K HID's. I haven't aimed them or anything yet. With thanksgiving coming up I'm really busy. As you can see from the last couple of pic's a Stiff beverage aids in the
process and keeps you focused...lol I also worked on my rear spoiler that has been hanging out in my workshop for a few months. I will post pics of that too.

You do really nice work. My wife has a black 2000 Expedition that we have been driving more lately and it now has 16,500 miles on it. Every time I look at it I think of your’s and how ours could look. You have two very fine vehicles.
