Some updated pictures...

As you can see, the window motor really makes things difficult on the backwall:

Vent go bye-bye:

I've already mounted the remote unlock thingy to this board. This board will also hold both ID crossovers and the XT800.2:

Current substage. My 4ga power wire wont reach the back wall so my amp is on the floor. Fuggin pissin me off that the Kicker wire still aint here. Should be shortly though.

Test fit:

DEH-P880PRS retails for 425 with excellent tuning options (i already want to go active, will be doing it soon). Picked it up 1 month used for 200 shipped:

Are you going to leave those 3 straps attached to the back wall? When I had my back seat out I took those straps off.

Well im finally all settled and moved in at school, working 25 hours a week and taking 17 hard units, AND duck season starts this weekend AND still partying when i can, so free time is minimal. But i'm still slowly working toward completing the system.

A little update: picked up some more pieces from parts express to help tidy/finish up the wiring install. Lots of zip ties, adhesive mounts for the zip ties (still in transit), lots of heatshrink, wire terminals, and tons of techflex looming (this stuff is AWESOME).

Here is a picture of 3/8" techflex wrapped snuggly around some 12 awg speaker wire:

And here is that exact same 3/8" strand expanded to wrap around 1/0 wire:

ALL of my power wire, ground wire, speaker wire, and RCAs will be wrapped in this stuff, and terminated with heatshrink tubing, color matched for + and -, and with terminal ends for the speaker wires that connect to the actual speakers. The wires will be snaked around with organization using the adhesive mounts and zip ties, whether it be on the back wall or under the carpet or up the inside of the doors. There will be no way for the wires to move or rattle whatsoever.

The kicker 1/0 kit is at my house back home, my dad is hunting with me this weekend so hes going to bring it for me. Which means next week i should be getting close to finishing. FINALLY.

Coming along nicely! Next time you need some sleeving or heat shrink check out mcmaster.com. I normally buy it from them in 100' spools and it always seems to come in handy.

Did a bunch of flexing and shrinking of wires yesterday and today. Got both amps on the back wall, RCAs run, speaker wires run, crossovers hooked up. Just need to run the 1/0 and hook up the distro blocks and grounds. Hopefully be done by thanksgiving.

I'll have pics up when i find the charger to my camera battery.
