Thanks. Found them on sale for 180, had to grab 'em. I am expecting 4 packages this week. Pictures to come. Then installation with more pictures.

And yes, the audiobling should be finding a place 6 feet under. Or the trunk of some high schooler's car.

More stuff has arrived!!

A roll of Raamat:

My temporary substage until SI gets off their asses and gets the BMs rolling (JL w1v2s):

(special thanks to weazel for the hookup)

Already put the JLs in the truck, what a difference. Much MUCH better SQ than what i had, and quite a bit better output too. Two subs is so much better than one, especially in the driver's seat.

Expecting 3-4 more packages this week.

Keep them coming. Is that a up-firing box I see?

How many sq ft of deadening are you gonna use? Where all are you going to apply it?

So far I have only done the 4 door inner and outer skins and the back wall with about 45 sq ft. The roof is next weekend.

Does the Raamaat already have adhesive on it, or do you have to use a spray?

Later,

For right now i'll be using about 90 sq ft of deadener. Im going to do 2 layers on the front doors + deflex pads behind midbass drivers, 1 layer on certain parts of the back doors (no rear fill for me) and a layer on the back wall. If i feel the need to add more later i will. I havent cracked open the Raamat yet but im pretty sure its sticky as is, no need for spray. Really good stuff for the money, best value deadener IMO. The damplifier is REALLY thick though, my god its high quality. Just too expensive.

Oh heres what came today:

Did the front doors today:

The Raamat is AWESOME. So flexible, very easy to put on, and the adhesive RULES. Sticks very well, but also easy to re-position if you miss a spot or mess up. Seriously guys, get this stuff. Its not that expensive. The Damplifier i have is also great stuff but not nearly as flexible and much much more expensive. Raamat = best value by far.

Looks good so far. Are you planning to make any panels to cover up the large holes in the inner door skin or not?

About how much per foot are each of the two dampeners you used?
