E3 Spark Plugs
Why would the mileage keep you from switching to any plug you choose? Just keep in mind that not many plugs are going to last as long as the Motorcraft.

Can't for the life of me understand this, but, even with the winter fuel I am averaging around 16 - 17 MPG with a mixture of driving. Only other thing I have done is put on my 18" Blizzacks for the winter (usually run 20"). So I can't support or deny their claim on the MPG

Yes, more resistance and substantially more weight.

Yeah I'm thinking about having these put in whenever I get my plugs changed. I need to get them done soon since I'm at ~72k
I just got all 8 MC plugs out without a single one breaking. I took a mechanics advice and ignored the TSB where it said do not use air tools. I used an impact on all 8. Now if only I could get the back one IN on the passenger side id be done. Total time of about 3 hrs taking my time and going slow.
Any suggestions on getting that last plug in there?

This is a 2007 5.4L Crew Cab 4x4 Lariat with 66k miles. I went from the stock motorcraft to the E3 plug and have about 1200 miles on the new plugs.
So far I am averaging about 1 mpg better on my commute to work.
I used to get right at 17.0 with normal driving. I am now getting 18.2 with normal driving.
Drove a 5 hr highway drive last weekend... on the way there the cruise control was always between 65-70 and I averaged 20.0 MPG when I arrived. On the way home i kept it between 75-80 and averaged 19.2 mpg.
I am not sure about helping performance wise... my truck is a truck so I never really get on it anyway ( i have a race car for that). But the truck runs much smoother and my "bucking" when the motor lugged going up a hill is completely gone.
