The E3.70 is a Nickel plated copper core. What is the plug change intervals compared with a MC SP 515 which is double platinum? Any chance that the E3.70 plugs will come in a platinum variety some day?

About to bite the bullet on some e3.70 plugs. Summit has them for 9.95 a piece which is cheaper than motorcraft replacements.

I have a 2007 5.4l 3v motor. This is the correct plug for my truck right?

Alright I am ordering them from Summit along with the LISLE Spark Plug removal tool. They have the tool for 79.95. Does anybody know of anywhere cheaper?

Hopefully I will not need to use the tool and can just return it to summit.

Can't for the life of me understand this, but, even with the winter fuel I am averaging around 16 - 17 MPG with a mixture of driving. Only other thing I have done is put on my 18" Blizzacks for the winter (usually run 20"). So I can't support or deny their claim on the MPG

The E3 is not a 'hot' plug..it just has a different flame dispersion pattern.
