As for the signature, I'll have it edited. I didn't make it, so I'll need to get the guy who did make it change it. It's not a big deal.I've been the fastest truck every year for a while now and all it does is cost you lots of money.

yeah
Hate to change the subject here, but I wish you guys put as much effort into returning emails as you do posting against each other... I emailed both of you, and only got one response back... Thanks, JL.

Another great JL response. Doesn't have anything intellegent to reply with, so just turns it into a rip fest on unrelated issues.

Since the discussion seems to be referencing Johns post about charlies truck consider this:
Go back and re-read JL's post on charlies numbers. JL didn't post numbers. He posted a graph. It clearly states STD on the graph. You interpret it how you want, but when I read your post, the first thing I wondered is why you would take a poke at two vendors.
But hey, in the end, ETs are where it really matters now isn't it....
damn.... this post sure is interesting........
Superfords!!!!!! congrats on the numbers.......
But I just read your other post.... so now I feel bad for you playa......
I hope u get everything worked out!!!!!

Hey Sal,
Heres one of Bill Jayne's Dyno sheets SAE numbers @ 695, the same pull made 707 STD. This was with 30" biased slicks. You can see the dip in the beggining of the run where the slicks started to wrinkle inturn dropping horsepower. Any kind of sticky tire on the dyno hurts horsepower.
Now to get to the real point, STD is used world wide just like SAE. Years ago ford used to post horsepower numbers using different formulas. There was a difference in 12 HP on Bills Truck, as long as the same person uses the same dyno shop and method for correction they are going to know if they gainded or lost power on their new mods.
So was it really worth bringing my name into this for something like 12 horsepower. If it is you should find more work to do so you keep yourself occupied. I got one example for you, figure out how to make it up to Chris by putting a new motor in his truck. You roll it off your dyno and it sucks up 9 quarts of oil going home. To me it sounds like you smoked a piston.
