Guys, not trying to start a ruckus here but I recall a thread back a few weeks ago about someone at Superchips stereotyping lightning owners and everyone was getting all pissed off about it. But look at the typical lightning owners responses in this thread. Just seems to stabilize Jerry's observation.

I'm personally glad to see some competition. Everyone knows that the L is th baddest truck on the planet but now Ford will be pushed to outperform them. Finally some competition.

To the Dodge guy, congratulations on your 12 second pass. Some time slips would be nice.

I would also like to see some dynos of these trucks. Does the Lightning community believe it is unrealistic to see a 450 whp truck with a six speed and slicks or drag radials run in the 12s pretty easily. I mean what does a 450whp lightning run in the 1/4? Should be into 12s right?

I love all fast vehicles.

I disagree. The only thing you are going to get out of slapping a supercharger (or any forced induction system) on a high compression engine is high EGT's. So what are we really talking about here? I guess we are talking about a race only application because last time I checked you couldn’t buy 110 octane at the pump.

Hey V!0? I fart in your general direction!

Oh yeah, I live in San Antonio Texas. You wana see what a 12.3 second pass looks like? Click here.

That’s what $1,500 gets you in a Lightning. Daily driven with 64,000 miles. SUCK IT!

Here is a picture from SRT10 forums for a stock truck. I would say that it is right at 500 horsepower at the flywheel. Although they should have less drivetrain loss with a manual transmission. May be overrated a little by Dodge. According to the post the difference between the two pulls is a throttlebody.

why the hell did this thread get 5 pages long.

He is only a troll, and by his grammar, not a very educated one at that.

Tell you what.

Come to Michigan and I'll race you.
to make it interesting.

PINK SLIPS!

Now put up or shut the hell up.

EXACTLY. I can't believe more people haven't figured that out. He has a 16 year old sister which means he's probably < 20 years old himself ... and he has a SRT-10? Daddy must have bought it and he must be one hell of a natural talent to be able to drive it better then all the other Dodge Boys that post. What it boils down to, is he is posting from his High School class, only WISHES he had the truck. You will get no time slips or pictures, because there are none.
