Srt-10
V!0,
Here is the deal, you and me, both trucks stock, we line up with a 3,000lb trailers and race 200 times and see who wins every time…
You have a ruck, not a truck. You only get the T if it can actually Tow…
The SRT-10 is a nice vehicle for those with a ton of cash to throw away but it is not a useful vehicle since about the only thing it can do is drive around and maybe take home a load of grocers now and then. You can’t haul hardly any load and you can’t even tow what a Ford Escort can tow that is sad and the worst part is if you spent the same amount of money as someone with a Lightning on mod’s you will always have the slowest vehicle that can’t tow…
Something to be proud of indeed…

It's a Ram pickup truck packing the Dodge Viper's 8.3-liter/505-horsepower, 525-lb-ft V-10 and six-speed Tremec gearbox--even a real Hurst shifter. It'll do 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds--the same as our latest number for the '03 Ford SVT Lightning--and the quarter mile will take just 13.8 seconds, says Dodge. Top speed is 150 mph plus. Coletti believes such competition will help improve the breed that SVT created with the original F-150 Lightning pickup."
Hahahaha, you paid how much for a truck that has the same numbers as that other truck that cost $15,000 less?

How do i post a picture??
hey TROLL!
I'd be happy to race you WITH OR WITHOUT your alleged 300 shot of nitrous.
but since I'm quite a ways away from you, I'm sure some of the Texas Lightning owners would be more than happy to blow your doors off for you.
so until you actually race a fast lightning, why don't you go troll the honda boards or something. you simply can't keep up with the vehicles on this board.
later,
chris

yeah, where the hell is the TALON group.... out of all you guys one of you has to be stock and willing to race this guy.
I have always thought the dodge numbers were padded somewhat...even SVT has made that comment. Im sure your truck hauls ***, Im sure its fun to drive as well.
I would never pay that much personally unless it ran low 12s... I would much rather have a pimp luxery car or Z06 vette for that dough. Iam glad dodge made it though...competition is what its all about.
ps. Dont forget the lightning dips into the mid 12s with just a pulley change and a ECU program...you're talking about under 500 bucks to BEAT a 50+K truck

Talk sh*t + no pics = poser.
Actually, I really do hope you can back that story up, but the whole 'don't know how to scan, don't know how to post' leaves me doubtful.
D*mn! Why did I buy the L again? Only 35hp less, what was I thinking? Maybe the one I test drove was defective - it could barely pull out of the dealership (while the dealer was yelling 'Yeah, that's what I'm talking about - Hemi baby').

PS like i said before the reg. cab hemi ram is the best bang for the buck sport truck. 17 grand for 35 less horses than the L. think about it!!
