Let's start over......
I can’t imagine the truck even reaching 20,000 total miles no matter how long I decide keep it, but have always had it in the back of my mind that it might be worth changing them once just because today’s current crop of mechanics have probably reached the point where they know exactly how to do it with minimal collateral damage.....???
So out of curiosity, do you think there is any benefit in changing the plugs on my 5.4 truck based on the way I drive it - only 3200 miles accumulated over 14 years....???

Had to head over to my local Ford dealer today to pick up some wiper blades for the wife’s Taurus and stopped to take a quick at a new Ranger XLT they had in the showroom. REALLY nice truck - but had to laugh at the $41k MSRP as that would have bought (3) of the previous model Rangers.....
Probably not a fair comparison because the two trucks are worlds apart in terms of design and technology, but still think that is a lot of coin for a small (mid-size) pickup.....
