I’ve been a Cowboy fan since the day they originated with Eddie Labaron as Q B but NO has always been my second choice. Since the kid from East Texas was drafted by the Chiefs, they have been a team I enjoy rooting for.

Well - looks like I picked a lovely weekend to travel to Minnesota for a visit! Highs in the single digits will probably make me realize why I headed south in the first place ....

sure it counts, that and Sean Payton are some of the reasons I like the Saints. That Mahomes kid for KC is just fun to watch.

Drew's 40th birthday is today. He's a fine young man and has a beautiful family also. Great all around athlete and work ethic is second to none.
Mahomes from what I see can make throws no other QB can. Using some baseball techniques throwing and applying them to football.
Looks like some good games this weekend.

With the exception of “Patriot Fatigue” all I really hope for this weekend are good games! I’ll be holed up in front of a fireplace at my brother-in-laws place on Sunday watching the games and staring out the window at the snow and cold of Minnesota. I guess I could pull for two teams with Minnesota connections (Patrick Mahomes dad played for the Twins and Cam Jordan’s dad played for the Vikings) but more than anything I’d hope for two games that come down to the wire....
