Sounds like fun! Great to spend time with the grandkids.

 

And then send them back home with their parents.....

 

The 18 yr old said he has better things to do and not get aggravated by the younger ones!!

 

That's what's good about grandkids! Got my inspection sticker on my truck and then fueled up so I'm packed and we'll be ready to roll about 5 pm...hopefully!!

 

I understand. My grandson is 19 now, a freshman in college, and all his priorities have changed. Really upsets his mother when he goes on a trip to Colorado with buddies or goes to a fishing tournament in the gulf rather than go home.

The State of Texas is really making me jump through hoops to get my ‘01 Mustang titled - have to have the local Sheriff’s office do a VIN search to make sure the car hasn’t been stolen, then I have to purchase a bond for 1-1/2 times the value of the car before they will title it. All because title transfer laws differ between Texas and the state where this car spent the majority of its life. Not worried about it being a stolen vehicle - just a lot of jacking around that will probably burn a day or two of my free time......

 

Had those train wreck feelings too
