Thinking the same, apparently people are going into their attic to escape the water. Latest news posts are telling people to get a Ax or Chainsaw so they can bust through to the roof to get recused. Crazy!!

So far, so good on this end of town! Got a long way to go though -- the ground is so saturated right now that anything could happen with the kind of rain we still might get....
Me, the wife, and kid even grabbed umbrellas for a family walk this afternoon just to get out of house for a bit! Still have electricity and we're well stocked with food, so the only worry I have tonight is whether the Vikings game gets pre-empted by storm coverage!

It is certainly a VERY bad storm, but you just never know looking from the outside how much the media is spinning it. sometimes the flooding is very isolated in that City.
I do know for sure that we will be selling the City some more parking meters though...

Finished up some swaps on the truck. Raptor boards, steering wheel and GrillCraft grill. I'm liking the Grill more than I thought I would. The steering wheel is pretty awesome, I really like how it fits my hands.

Some friends of ours down on the SW side of town had to be evacuated from their home by airboat today -- fortunately, they have an acquaintance who has an unoccupied property they can live in until they figure out what kind of damage has been done to their home.....
