Let's start over......

Woke up thinking I was going to change the oil on the cavalier.. I moved the Cars around and more than one needed it. Ended up the Cavalier, 99 M CLASS and the wife's car was all due.
Got half way there and dad called to ask if I would pick up some oil for his M CLASS also.
Ended up with 20 quarts of mobil one 5w30 synthetic, 5 quarts of quaker state. 5 quarts of motorcraft and I thought I was done. Nope....Of Course they had my pennzoil platnium on sale, so I picked up 6 quarts for the Eb for the next change before vacation. After all said and done 36 quarts of oil and 5 oil filters.
I miss the days of a 2 car household

Until Fiddy gets the 5.0
Technically all 36 quarts won't be used. Should have 4 left over from the ML's. 8 quarts a piece. I'd rather buy the 5 quart jugs for 23.00 then pay 8 bucks per quart.

Sounds like the month of June for me -- my license and registrations are all due for my Cavalier, Ranger, F-150, LTD and Taurus that month. I usually take one Saturday to get all my safety inspections taken care of -- by the end of the day the guy at the shop is like WTF......
Between tags and inspections it really cuts into my disposable income that month.....

Went in this morning to renew the registration and was told my 90 days already passed. Asked how she got from August 2nd to Sept 12 as 90 days. Apparently it's from when you get it inspected until the last day your sticker is good until.
So had to get it reinspected then got the sticker. I usually don't renew so early but with October as vacation month figured I'd go ahead and get it out of the way. I thought I may lose a month but they kept it as October.
Speaking of that I just went through a little ordeal this morning.. We have been told we have 90 days to get inspection before you get registration. The registration is due October and had the inspection done august 2nd.

Good to know -- I took one of my cars in when this program first started to have the safety inspection done early and the guy at the shop told me to come back later in the month or I would have problems. I thought it was just a bug in the system since the program was new, but apparently not! Did they charge you for the second inspection that you had to have done.....???
