Ford brought it up to our university to show off. They're supposed to bring it back again in a couple weeks for a ride and drive, so we'll see.

That's true, but the way you drive it it's 3 years old in dog years

She has definetly been run hard it's whole life, but it keeps begging for more. Right now it's the test vehicle for 5 star on the 12th gens. Guarantee it's a high 12 second tune only truck right now . Logging tonight and we are thinking there is still some mid range left.
Next is trying to get the throttle plate to stay 100 percent open.

She just rolled over 65,000 yesterday.

Discount Tire had some crazy rebates going on for the Labor Day weekend so I decided to pop for some new tires on the Cavalier. I figure I still have about another 10,000 miles of tread life left on my current mis-matched set of Uniroyals, so I bought the tires but am just going to set them in my garage and bring them back over to Discount for mounting once I've gotten a few more miles out of the current set.

Four tires, sales tax, lifetime balancing and rotations, along with 6-months interest free financing on my Discount Tire card came to $294.00 after rebates -- it sure is cheaper putting tires on the Cavalier then my other vehicles.....

SIL has a 2013 Focus Hatchback with the standard transmission. Definetly the transmission makes a big difference on the focus. So much nicer than the focus rental with the automatic I had a few months.

Had a awesome bike ride today. Hit some new trails that were crazy steep, wet and technical. Wish I hadn't bothered washing the truck yesterday, the gravel roads made a mess.

Hope everyone had a good weekend, I think i am about to get out there and wash the truck. It is nasty after last weeks rain and the muddy parking lot at the school that i park in to drop my son off at. I was going to leave it alone for a while but when a couple buddy's that never wash their truck starts commenting how dirty mine is, then that's a sign.

Just decided to run another datalog for 5 star. went to my spot i normally log on and they were doing construction, so turned around and went the other way, 3rd gear and took off, right when i was hitting 6k at 100mph a damn sheriff popped over the hill.

He was very cool, i just told him my truck is running like crap and the ford dealership gave me their computer to replicate it. It worked and no written warning or ticket given. Whoop Whoop

Saw a horrible wreck doing my 2nd datalog. Intersection to 2 highways with just a stop sign. Truck disregarded the stop sign and slammed into the little blue car. I was about 20 car lengths behind the blue car. Speed limit is 60 on both roads so she was hit around the speed limit. Engine ended up a long ways from the car in a field. Not posting pic of car since she didn't make it.

The Cavaliers parked until I can figure out a cheap/easy way to fix the fuel lines. I put half a tank in it Friday. Drove the truck to camp and got home Sunday, jumped in the car and it only had 1/4 in it. Drove to my moms house (10 or so miles)to pick up my dog and the fuel gauge was buried by time I got home

I did have an older couple with a Kodiak Brown F150 follow me into the beer distributor to compliment my truck. Of course it was trashed from going down all the dirt roads at camp. No one ever sees it after I spend 6+ hours cleaning it

That only worked because he seen the EB badge on the door. He figured it had to be true
