Getting ready to pour Saturday morning..weather permitting. 2 or 3 more hrs of work tomorrow and it should be ready.

Re-working the drain is taking a little extra time.

43'x16' on the pad and then more in the front so we shouldn't have trouble backing in the camper.

What do you need a drain for on an exterior pad?

That's a catch basin for the street...they are building it up higher to get level with the concrete. We're putting another drain on the edge of the street to catch the water and then tap in with plastic pipe to the main drain.

Sunny and windy down here with a wind chill of 29. Not bad considering what Shreveport is getting.

Both of my daughters own dogs and none of them like cold wet weather. They can't wait to get back inside.

Maggie runs around looking for squirrels, armadillos and road runners. She will see a squirrel on the ground and she is like a dart, 90 mph. It's all a game.
