Let's start over......
Somewhere around 7500 to 8k. That will buy a immacualte low mileage mark with money left over.. or a somewhat nice mustang. Patrick has me swinging the idea of a 94 body style with a coyote swap. If thats the case then need to add more money to the piggy bank. The Impala sell really helped with the mustang/mark fund.
Well that sounds like my youngest daughter! The car is a fancied up Nissan Pathfinder...in fact my daughter drives one with her 2-1/2 kids! MawMaw wanted something with more room then her Caddy SRX and this is what she picked.

For the money you are budgeting I would probably go the Lincoln route just because it sounds like you will be getting so much more for your money. People have a high-mileage Mustang that has been thrashed by every driver who has owned it and they want that kind of money for it -- even if it needs plenty of work once you get it home!

Im still possibly thinking about using my Mark, But Parts are a bitch to find.. Need Hood, Grill, Lights, Bumper, Air suspension is down, Airbags popped. Plus Last memorial day it rained so much water got into the inside and it doesnt smell that great.
Plus i like the 2nd gen looks better
Good, I just love sweet sounding V8s when I fly past em and they are trying to keep up

Going to do a little driving today. Leaving Athens about 12:30 to go back to Burleson, pick up Mama, then on to Abilene. Will attend a Wake, go eat, then back to Burleson. About 7 hours driving time.

it is. and I could feel power from it in my 99, but the 04.....I trust it to go on for a few more hundred thousand no problem, but it don't have a lot of get up, and the stock exhaust sounded terrible. the magnaflow on her now sounds ok outside, but drones bad from inside
I don't mind it, considering the rest of her's mediocre. so long as she stays reliable.
