in flatout amazing shape

I had to talk dad into buying her instead of a car, only way we can do it at the moment. so that wasn't hard.....he's gonna talk to his coworker (if he hasn't had the chance already) and see what he can work out

Time to go and get ready to head to the dealer...only thing bad is that they are in the New Orleans area about 60 miles away.

Condolences on the loss of your buddy, Bluejay.

Man, 71 isn't very old in this day-and-age -- you just never know.....

I'm a tad young to have any of my siblings or circle of friends pass away, but I'm sure it will be a strange feeling when the time comes......

lost a friend to cancer a few years ago....I hated to see how much pain he was in, much more than sorry to lose him...he was 54

Let's start over......

More bad news. Got a call this morning that one of my favorite cousins had a massive heart attack and died this morning. Everyone thought she was in great health. She exercised and ate right, no known issues. She was 69.

Proof-positive that life is too short to not eat Chicken-Fried Steak! Sorry for the "double-whammy", Jim......

Going to be out in the blistering sun all day looking at a house up in Frisco that got struck by lightning a few weeks back and burnt to the ground -- I should be a hot, sweaty mess by the time this one wraps up sometime this afternoon.....
