Thunderstorms last night but beautiful this morning so far...looks like another round of storms this evening. Rain cooled us down also...only in the high 80's and feels like fall!

 

Got 1.75" of rain starting at 3pm yesterday and didn't quit until 5am this morning....it was a welcome site and the grass sure greened up

 

We are at 40 days with no rain. Ground is cracking.

 

We have a good chance tomorrow night and Wednesday

 

I think we gave a 50% chance Wed and Thurs. But that's 50% chance of none, as well.

 

Ran into a couple of very isolated downpours over the weekend, but nothing that amounted to anything beyond some wet roads. My lawn is looking pretty sorry, although when I took the recycling bin out to the curb last night I could have sworn I felt just a tinge of coolness to the air! You know you live in Houston when mid-80's and humid classifies as a "touch of fall air".....
