Im not... Push button once, Traction control off.. Push button second time Advance trac off.

Push the pedal to floor in a straight line at 30/35 mph, it kicks down screams the tires for about 1 sec then falls on its face with the light flashing.. Going around a turn and punch it and once again the damn light flashing falls on its face.

Advance trac wouldnt be going off in straight line especially when the truck stays straight. Thats TC. Then advance trac kicks on when the rear end starts to get a little sideways.

I lost to a late 90s early 2000 Z28 this evening cause of that crap.. he had me by 5 car lengths after the truck freaked out, by the end of the race my front fender was at his door but still lost.

Just like when i first got the truck and the 18 wheeler forced me into the median, the damn system wouldn't let me hardly do anything.

I'd like to take a mustang for a spin with everything "off". I'd bet it would actually be off where as these trucks aren't. Couldn't picture having a sports car and not be able to let it hang out or burn em down.

Sideways would be stability control, uses yaw rate sensors.

Traction control is wheel spin variations, uses wheel speed sensors.

I thought you press once, then press and hold for 10~ seconds to completely kill traction control?

Press once is the TC, 2nd press and hold advance trac.

I think running this mpt tune, the truck has so much more power and Torque that when it spins it does it so hard then the truck thinks something is about to happen. Running stock tune, it seems like its off. But reason is the tires don't spin as hard.

Can't do anything to kill stability control, it's government mandated, saves lives of crappy drivers on the highway and helps keep vehicles from rolling over in many cases.

I probably need to review exactly what Advance Trac is, but I can tell you it's different than Stability Control
