I can't remember that from my business trips to Oregon but I know it's that way in New Jersey.

Lots of paperwork today, then three days off to do a little Texas getaway with the wife and kid for their Spring Break!

Going to start tomorrow by heading to Shiner for a tour of the Spoetzl Brewery, before ending up in New Braunfels for our stay. Thursday will be a trip to Natural Bridge Caverns, maybe some hiking along the Guadalupe River if there is time, and definitely hit the Grist Mill for either lunch or dinner. Friday I was thinking about dropping down to San Antonio for a trip to the observation deck of the Tower Of The Americas before getting on the road back to Houston.

Looking forward to it -- been working like a dog lately and could use a couple of days away from the quarry........

The brewery tour is excellent. Be on the look out for the Ram chair near the end.
I'd also highly recommend a few minute drive East you can visit the historic Catholic Cathedral, stunning building for being 100 years old

Thanks...amazing to see 500 yr. old buildings and villages where people live like they did back then. Drive a few miles and see places that rival our towns in the U.S.

Many old churches built during the Spanish era in Central America date back 500 years or more. This one was built around 1600...all have lots of gold on the alter areas because most of the cites had silver and gold mines.

We always enjoy the Hill Country around New Braunfels and Canyon Lake. The Riverwalk and the Alamo in San Antonio is great for someone who hasn't been there before. First time I went to the Alamo I met Davy Crockett in person!!

You drive a truck, not a Prius -- get your butt off to construction class!
