That is correct. This is what I said to him

I agree with the magnaflow too. I have a 14" si/do and love it!

is the super 44 similar to the 14" body magnaflow? i have a si/do flowmaster setup not sure on the muffler but i dont like the sound when driving. sounds great at start up and idle but not so much at driving. and im wanting to change to something else. i had delta flow 40's true dual on my old 2000 5.4 and loved them but i dont want to drop 500 bucks for a set up like that on this truck.

The super 44 is considerably louder than the 14" body magnaflow. I prefer the maggie's clean deep growl, but that is just me. Flows tend to have rasp. The 14" maggie I believe once broken in would be just a tad quieter than the 40 series delta

The maggie improves across all rpms if I am not mistaken. It is a straight through design so it imrpoves low end. I noticed it on mine and I don't stomp on it what so ever. I think the # is stamped usually near one of the inlets/outlets of the muffler.

There is one in my sig, but it does not do it justice.

Here's one of Darrens. Mine is just a tad quieter, but almost dead on in this vid because he has his cats.

not bad at all. i like how smooth it sounds vs. the flowmaster which is loud always. and if i add the high flows i realize it makes it deeper and louder but will it hurt low end or anything. the only reason i keep mentioning low end is i remember reading somewhere on a forum about some guys saying these trucks like back pressure and to much free flowing exhaust isnt good.

sorry for all the questions, and thanks

No problem. I love how deep these are versus the rasp of the flows. Here's what I seem to recall abou the hi-flows. The do make it louder and deeper, but they also help performance. You should see an improvment with them. There are two that I see mentioned. One is not at aggressive sounding and the other will make it sound almost catless. I would see how you like it once it breaks in if you decice on the maggie, and if it still isn't loud enough, look into hi-flow cats.

No problem man. Here's my thinking. Nothing to me will ever beat a 45'd split side exit. It just looks perfect to me for some reason. I would suggest 4"x18" tips run out split rear becuase as you pass things like buildings, walls, ect, the sound gets projected off them and makes it louder (echos) I love that. Just my taste though.

ok one more question lol, i heard some people mention the tips from magnaflow turn gold after a while or something is that true. i have silverline now which are stainless 18" long 3.5" out slash cut and they have held up very well i just think i want to down size just a little to like 12" long 3" outlet. with a angled rolled tip. still not sure on that either lol.

You have gained an impressive wealth of knowledge over the past few months, and have done an excellent job helping people out. Its nice to have someone else around to help, where were you all last summer??
