Has anyone used the Thrush welded mufflers? They are cheap enough at $30.

Well since we found out that his 06 and my 04 were different lengths we would have had to cut up the 44 I already had welded up to bolt on. So we just decided to weld up a new setup for him.

So other than hearing it on his vehicle how do you benefit at all through this entire experience? Are you keeping your exhaust alone then? If so, explain your views on your exhaust sound to his on tone and volume.

Well I made 20 bucks lol. I plan on running a pipe and dumping it behind the rear axle to give it sound at wot. His exhaust seems to have about the same volume, but it does appear to be deeper.

Thats cool, I look forward to my switch to them ( I know i'm saying that too numerously ). I considered Super 44s and the Bullets, decided on Bullets because I would rather stick with a free flowing exhaust, without a tin-can hollow sound. So eventually I will be listing my two Super 44s in the classifieds. The only downside to the Bullet is the 16 gauge aluminized steel.. if they were atleast t-409 I would be very happy, but I will be doing some paint work for them.

Anyways enough of my rambling, thank you for your response.

Well its not that i'm very worried, its just I would rather not have the hassle of changing things out due to corrosion, and its only for 4 months of the year. I love Pennsylvania, specifically where i'm located in northern PA, the sights, the places, the freedom, the nature, the all year round seasons from hot summers to snowy winters, the low amount of laws and low amount of cops is also nice. Road salt for 4 months of the year is very well worth the experience, i'll just take preventive measures to help protect my investments.

Firstly, you need to explain what type of exhaust you are going with. Obviously true duals, the X pipe is a necessity in my opinion to balance the scavenging to keep torque strong. Some shops carry them, some dont, I personally would buy a t-304 stainless X pipe online so you know your getting a good part, and not an aluminized shop made piece.
