Try driving a rental for a while and you will appreciate the power you have. I have one now and it pales in comparison. Except it is a Toyota, so I'm waiting for that sudden burst of acceleration! Let's hope not.

It will be interesting to hear what the MPG is, that's what I've been waiting for. As far as the extra HP, that'll be crazy since 97% of the time I'm always first off the line at every stop or light anyways. Don't know if people in MA are afraid to just step on the damn gas when the light turns green or what. With the new EB I'll have to be careful, don't want to add a set of blue lights to my truck...

And let's not forget, if the rumors of another redesign in 2012 turn out to be true, then I'm sure the new EB will make an even bigger contribution to MPG savings since I'm sure a redesign will include even more lighter frame materials and hopefully more weight reductions across the board. We can hope the redesign includes their new remote start from factory, keyless start, Upfitter Switches, BLIS, massaging seats, heated steering wheel, etc... did I mention Upfitter Switches? It IS a truck, albeit a very luxurious one.

Thanks for the info and link, mete!
Don't forget telescoping steering wheel, auto up/down (express) on all 4 windows, and global down with the remote key fob...Ford has had this feature out for years - why they wouldn't include this with a $50K Platinum is beyond my understanding. Xenon, self leveling headlights would be awesome and a rear window rain gutter (as well as redesigning the side rain gutters that are worthless) would be nice too...oh, and nix the platic coating on the leather seats...makes 'em feel like vinyl and you can't use leather conditioner on them either

I'd take the telescoping wheel.

Is the F150 now the only Ford model to not have that feature?

SD/Fusion/Flex/Edge/ not sure about the rest?

I don't think the Mustang has it either. Not needed though.

I just bought my fiance a 2007 Edge SEL AWD, and I'm pretty sure it has a telescoping wheel. Also, when it does a system check one of the things it checks for is Washer Fluid level.

Forgot about HID's and LED tails for '12, those would both be super sweet!

Spent the whole day today doing a complete detail to the Edge. That's a pretty nice vehicle, I must say. It even has the Easy Out feature, which is great for my fiance. Nice job, Ford.

Unhappy

At least on your '10 you've got a rear sliding window defroster, figures they couldn't make that one work until the year after I buy mine.

Telescoping wheel has the same purpose as adjustable pedals, which some F-150's have.

Question Did Ford follow-thru or not?

Has anyone ordered a 2011 SuperDuty w/Remote Start yet? Remember the article awhile back, I think Rambo posted it, that talked about how Ford was going to have a brand-new factory remote start system, starting with the new SD in 2011, that you could order from the factory that would be all high-tech and operate things like heated seats/defrost/push-button starters/etc.

What ever happened with that? Did Ford follow through? If I recall, on the build site, all it has is the same-old ancient Ford Powercode remote start dongle thing.

Let's see, pair of gloves $5-$10, heated steering wheel, I'm sure a heck of a lot more!
