I don't have much faith in them at the point. Going from "shipping late January" to another "2 to 3 weeks" (and near the middle of May) shows they have some serious problems with their product or else someone is preventing the release.

The problem with designing any of these systems is that the headunit will have updates every so often and the company who makes this lockpick need to make sure that when an update comes out that the system will still function like it should. It should at least have some kind of updatable software. If it dont then it's a stupid thing to buy.

Just a heads up... I went ahead on the pre-order, the next day I recieved a UPS notification that the lockpick has been slated to be shipped by the company (Coastal Research) in the next couple days... *Crossing fingers* I'll post more info if I actually get an item shipped email! - Hope they're not shipping off the non-hd (non-jukebox) version by mistake.. I'll be choked!

My thoughts are either they can't handle the mass shipping to all these folks who really want one of these for the Sync HD model right now and are delaying the announcement so that only pre-orders are being processed? -or- they really don't have their stuff together and made a mistake... time will tell..

I've also been waiting since January. Have called multiple times, always being told it's in production and will be released in "2 or 3 weeks." Called again today, same ****ing answer....

I don't see why they wouldn't put it into production, it's their main product line, and considering their page counter just past the 10,000 hits, doesn't that show interest for the product?.. on the other hand I've looked at the page probably 100 times myself! Who knows...

You got to be looking at selling more than 1000 of these things to make a profit. I wouldnt even consider making something like this unless i could shift 5000+ I have hit their site prob 50-60 times so all those extra hits make it look like they have loads of people checking them out. Only they know the true amount of people who are interested. I bet most of you are on here. 100 people at most.

I called them today and they are still saying 2-3 weeks so I will be very very surprised if you get the harddrive based lockpick.

I have my doubts too, but as far as it seems they shipped me a lockpick for the new HDD based system. I will confirm for sure when it arrives (hopefully less than a week).

Yeah, keep us posted. What part number did you order and what did it cost?

They didn't give you any UPS/FedEx tracking information?
