Well my fxr 's are out. Ordering rx350's, shrouds, bulbs, ballasts, harness, and demon eye kit. I have a mint set of oem headlights to install on. Unsure of color scheme this time, and I'm checking out options for it.

My fxr's are going to be installed into a set of 08 f350 headlights on my brothers truck. I honestly can't wait.

Crisper, sharper cutoff with a soft additional gain in output. You'll need to get clear lens to go with the RX350s.

Beauty! Thanks for the info! Just playing the waiting game now. Should be another week or so till the stuff shows.

In the mean time, I decided to update the emblems. I have the tailgate emblem, but I still need to sand it flush. And the rear Ford emblem is still drying.

Anyways, all emblems were prepped the same way, sprayed with the same primers and paints. And for whatever reason the Ford emblems did this...

I'm going to keep it. I actually like the way it turned out.

While it may not have been your intent, it actually came out pretty cool. I like it and it seems to go well with the textured look of the 09+ emblems too!

I like the textured look as well. If you don't mind me asking where to you find the 2 piece ford emblem?

They should be all over eBay. I bought new ones last fall and the front is the 3 piece design. The rear was the old style and im not sure if the 3 piece was available for the rear at the time.

Yup, eBay has them the cheapest. And 2008xl, i do like how they match the 09+ side emblems as well.

Time to get them cleared.

Thanks nfld!

Been making some progress on the headlights. I've not only got mine to do, but my brothers as well.

The green is a 100% match to his suspension and everything. Really going to look good. I've also had to help him trim his bumper and a few other odds and ends as he recently purchased 20x12 fuel octanes with 37/13.5 toyo m/t's.

Not the greatest pictures but you get the point.

Thanks Darren! It's been work lately. Trying to find time to get both sets of headlights finished.

Had my uncle who runs a local body shop clear my emblems. And also sterlgreyfx4's emblem. Need to look at getting the front 3m wrapped. Would rather not have any rock chips!
