That's a big update. Let us know when it happens. Can't wait to see what you have in mind for exhaust.

I assume it will be mostly garage queen too? Should last a very very long time if you only putting less than 5k a year on it

Good luck with the new truck -- hope everything checks out when you finally get to see it in person.....

If your not going to do a lot of towing, I would get rid of those hideous elephant ears on the truck now and put some normal mirrors on. Your going to love the extra room in the back seat, the extra 6 inches in cab length is all rear seat leg room compared to an 04-08 screw. Also get a custom tune as soon as you can. I have MPT on mine and it can bark the tires on the 1-2 shift on dry pavement and I'm running their 87 performance tune. Oh and ditch the resonator soon also.

Congrats! Hope it works out. You'll love the 5.0, it makes the 5.4 feel like a 4 banger.

I am gonna miss the Lariat though, it was always one of my favorites.

First .... you have my sincerest condolences on the loss of your Mother. I just read through .... it reminded me of when I lost my Dad to multiple myeloma in 1969 .... I was but 15 but not a day goes by I don't think of him even all these years later.

One of my best buddies is from Mansfield, Pa., his Mom and some sibblings still live there. I've listened to him describe growing up there and looking at your pictures the area looks like I pictured it, much like the parts of western part of Virginia and West Virginia I ride through so much .... COOL!

Thanks everyone for the congratulations! My friend bought it Monday, Oct 17th for $10,000. It left my driveway at 129,635 miles. It sucks signing off of a title in hand lol! But he definitely wanted it and is happy to have it. Hope he takes care of it. Thanks to his extra thousand I can get into the $31k truck.

I've already put a $500 deposit on it, which they will refund if I don't want it since I am coming a far ways.. I did it over the phone pumping gas into the Trans Am I was so excited lol! Finances are in order and a check is ready. Friday is the day I go get it!

So to my 2007, I thank you for the memories and good times, mod investments, and the repairs learned with the 5yrs, 5mo, 51,000 miles together.

I'm planning on the Roush catback. I've slowly grown into the peace at mind of a pre-fabbed catback and not getting disappointing results from fab shops. Plus the Harley/Raptor style exit has highly grown on me I almost did it to the 2007 last year with a Borla XR-1. Glad I didn't now haha!

I will probably drive it quite often until the white snow flys in the air and salt lands on the streets. But I do want to preserve it some with garage time. Within a few years after having it paid for it could put me in a brand new truck at the time is my logic. But until then, it's new to me and i'm very excited to get into a coyote truck. The desire and jealousy since they have been out these past 5 years has been torture.

I don't have anything to tow just yet, but I would like to do a real lift on this truck, and with some offset wheels I could see myself liking the look with tow mirrors. I have always felt they are overkill on a stock or leveled truck.

My plan is a Roush catback with the Harley/Raptor exit. I think that will look great, be different than the 45'd exits i've ran on 2 trucks for 8 years, and I love the sound on YouTube. I really want the Borla Atak also, but I don't love the exit, or the price.

Thank you for your condolences tbear. Her birthday would have been the 25th of October so its narrowing down and feeling rough. She's much better off. No more pain, no more snowy cold winters, and no more lonesomeness since my father passed away years before. The worst thing over the years was her misery of loneliness without him. She low lays at peace beside him though.

I recall you telling me that. He used to be a trooper if I recall correctly?

This area of PA is quite beautiful. The south side of PA seems to be big towns and cities with business. From the north side of interstate 80 it's as country side and small town as it gets!

Just finally listened to it. Sounds very good surprisingly! Resonator gone probably even more of an aggressive animal.

I just found this from magnaflow, it's a dual same side exit in front of tire AKA lightning style.

Just throwing it out there for your consideration.
