Am I allowed to call myself an idiot? I could have used the time I had the pan off the tranny to paint it... Ugh. My bad.

Okay, drove the truck home, cleaned the bed out of the cardboard I was going to take to the recycling center before the trans went toes up. The city started pickup so I bagged it all and it's on the curb. Going to take it for a nice bath tomorrow...

Checked the fluid level, crawled around under it, and found the fluid level perfect, and not a single drip or weep...

I figure the car wash will be one of the self serv jobs so I can use the degreaser on the underside and get the dried up trans fluid off of everything...

Drove in to work. Dropped my wife off at her office then ran the truck through a car wash before driving myself in. Truck looked great in the early sun...

it's right at home on the truck, the curve it gives and the sleek appeal, very much worth the cost.

Replaced 2 wheel studs and ordered a replacement rim after someone tried stealing my wheels, left the lugnuts off, I didn't notice until the drivers front wheel fell off...

On the positive note, I ordered the replacement rim in a pair and am going to swap both front tires to the new rims, and put the right front rim on the spare tire so I have matching spare tire and wheel...

Need to order new wheel locks.

New wheels are at 4 wheel parts. SP515 plugs are here. Took truck around for body work estimates to get the fender damage fixed.

Man, db, I'd be so upset about all of that.

But on the upside, you truck has to feel extremely spoiled (and bruised) with all the fixin it's been experiencing lately.

I am not thrilled about the damage for sure... but I am real close to ready for the next 10 years though...

Yep, she is 10 years old now. Man, and mine's 8!

I could venture to say that were the truck lifted, they wouldn't have had a jack tall enough to even begin to take the wheels off . . .

Nothing like a well maintained truck. I'm hoping that helps me get book price when I sell mine.
