Hey, just got the email myself and had to post it for everyone.

 

My original dome lights just went out so it is time for the LED upgrade. The map lights are still available, but the rear dome light says sold out. What is the current alternative? I am sure that throught the 40 pages of the thread it has been discussed, but I am in a bit of a hurry to order. I have a 2005 Lariat Supercab with the same light setup as Darren and Carolinaboy.

Also, my dad just bought a 2010 XLT SuperCrew. Is there a thread around addressing this upgrade for the newer model trucks?

Newer truck model bulb #s are the same as far as I know. Looks like V-leds are selling out of everything lately. Domes are #578 and maps are #194. Good luck finding some.

Just placed my order with VLEDs. $26 for the front map lights and rear dome light plus the coupon code. The dome is backordered but I went ahead and ordered anyway. Replaced the reverse and cargo lights today with Silverstars so now the outside is all the same (minus tag lights). Should look good when its all done.

 

I am so going to do this one of these days.
