^^ That price is nothin. I paid $55 for my front led switchbacks and $70 for my brake light bulbs. Now I ordered them when I had coupons because it saved a decent chunk of change when the total was higher. Remember, the code VISION right now gets you 15% off your order until 11/30/10. They will be well worth the price IMO because they are really bright.
Just to show you how much brighter my brake light bulbs are with the leds, here you go, and this is only a pic of my running lights on. Brake lights are even brighter.

I would pick #1 for the LP bulbs and it doesn't look like there is a 5K bulb for the rear dome.

 

will this work for the interior dome light in a 2006 fx4 crew? the other listed are out of stock.

and what are the puddle lights listed earlier in the thread? is that just another name for the footwell bulbs?

 

I don't know if it will work or not, its not a 578 bulb. If it is the same length, then it should work but I can't tell how long a 578 bulb is.
Puddle lights are the ones on the bottom of the mirrors that light up puddles when you open the doors.

 

oh ok. im trying to figure out which LEDS to buy to swap everything out and its all just so confusing to me, plus the dome lights that have been listed in this thread are all sold out on the site.

i dont wanna wait to order them either cause right now their offereing 20% off i believe. if i get the switchbacks for the front, what turn signals do i get for the taillights? so far i have this

6k Parking lights-License plate lights
6k Map lights
6k Cargo Lights
6k Switchbacks
6k Puddle lights

Missing dome light, taillight signals, and then the flash relay so i dont get that hyper flash stuff. what else am i missing? what is the sidemarker light?

 

The sidemarker light is the little amber bulb on the edge of the head light. Its inside the amber reflector.

FWIW. The puddle lamps aren't on every truck/mirror, so you might not have to change them. My truck didn't have them until I upgraded my mirrors to tow mirrors. If I remember correctly, I think the only other mirrors besides the tow mirrors that have them are on the Harley Davidson and King Ranch edition. Maybe the Lincoln?

I noticed you had the puddle lights in your list, and had asked about them earlier, so I thought I would throw that out there.

As far as rear turn signals, I didn't switch those out. I replaced the lamp with the Hella tails. If I were to switch bulbs, I would go with the ones DarkShadowSTX went with. Those look great.

thanks for the heads up on those puddle lights. i have a 06 fx4 so i doubt i have them but ill check to make sure. ill add the sidemarker to the list then as well. thank you. then i just gotta find what bulbs shadow used for his rear turn signals.

Like some other people here, now that I have the interior LEDs, it makes me want to switch out the cargo lights so they match. When you say they suck for light output, are they worse than the normal, stock bulbs or were you just disappointed that they didn't improve the light output much? I like the form factor of LEDs, but I certainly do not want to affect the function by downgrading in light output.

 

I'm assuming the LED is the one on the right....that seems to be much brighter.

 

^^Correct. Led is on the right. I've posted this pic a couple times now in different threads and forgot to tell which bulb was which in this one.
