Well, I just got my 921s for my reverse lights but for some reason they don't fit. It looks like the base of the bulb is the same size for the reverse light as it is for the brake light. The base of the 921 is about 1/2 the size of the OEM reverse light. Is this normal? Did I order the wrong bulbs?

Ok. So according to Sylvania's Bulb Guide, The 2007 should be a 921 for the reverse light.
It says 921 for F150 model years 2006-2010. However, on the 2004 and 2005 model years, it shows a 3156, which is the same style plug as the brake light.
Maybe you need a 3156 style bulb. I don't know why though, Sylvania says 921 for 2007, maybe it's a typo? My Hella tails came with the bulbs already in the lamp, and use a 921 style bulb, but I can't remember what mine was stock. I changed the tail lights and bulbs over 2 years ago.

Mine is a 3156 and my truck is an 08. I just checked my old Silverstars that I had in there before the leds. I read UNC's post last night and just thought that 921 didn't sound right but couldn't go out and check because it was storming. I looked up my old order and the bulb I have says its sold out so I can't post a link to it.

I would hope so. On VLEDS website, when you go to their fitment guide it just redirects you to Sylvanias website. Considering that's what you went by, I don't see why they wouldn't work with you.

. The only 921s for these trucks are in the cargos. You for sure ordered the wrong bulbs. V-LEDs service is great,they should surely return your order for a re-stock fee, and the price difference for any 3156s you choose. For sure! Damn!

Sylvania needs to get their friggin' website fixed. I wouldn't think I would have to take my taillight off to make sure they have the correct information.
I'll be sending the bulbs back tomorrow. V-LEDs said they would waive the restock fee as long as I ordered a replacement set of bulbs and included the new order number on the return sheet. V-LEDs with great customer service yet again!
