I decided to email the company that makes the Tridon flashers and this is the response I got. He responded within 30 minutes of me sending the email. Very impressive I must say. I'll keep y'all posted as to what I find out. Maybe if we get together and work on this we can solve this issue.

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue… I will do what I can to assist you but I do not feel as if it is your new turn signal flasher is causing the problem.* Just out of curiosity, where did you purchase your EP27 turn signal flasher?
*
I believe that the issue is coming from some type of feedback interference in the circuit somewhere.* More than likely, this problem existed in the F150 truck before the LED upgrade or flasher replacement.* There are a few options that I will need you to try in order to figure out what is really going on here:
1.****** Can you verify that the LED turn signal replacements are the only bulbs that react when the brake pedal is depressed?
2.****** Replace the EP27 turn signal flasher with the OEM flasher unit and see if the issue still exist - What do you find?
3.****** Plug the EP27 flasher back into the truck and put the OEM bulbs back in place of the LED upgrades.* Now, do the incandescent bulbs react?* Does the EP27 react?
*
If you can get me accurate answers to these questions I may be able to develop another theory, but as it stands currently, I feel that the issue is in the wiring harness or circuit somewhere else that is causing interference.* The brake pedal circuit is not engineered to directly affect the EP27 turn signal flasher.
*
Now, I think that since the LED’s you put in require so much less power to react than incandescent bulbs, that is why they are reacting when the brake pedal is depressed and the flasher is activating.* You might also try installing some load resistors in parallel with the LED upgrades in order to fix this issue.* If you perform step number 3 from above, and installing the incandescent bulbs fixes your problem, installing load resistors in parallel with your LED upgrades will also fix your problem.
*
I hope that this is clear enough to understand and that this points you in the right direction.* If you would please let me know if I can assist you further OR if you fix the issue, let me know the outcome.* Thanks for your support of Tridon aftermarket flashers!

Got my order from V-LEDS today, not too bad on shipping time considering they were mailed First Class postage. Ordered Monday afternoon, got them Friday.

I am not so sure I am gonna be happy with the 6 LED Flank bulbs in the license plate lights though. Will have to check them out at dark thirty to know for sure. If I am not happy with them, does anybody know if they will exchange them? I think the 13 LED 194 lights might be better.

One bit of advise, that I did not think of when changing out the bulbs, the old filament bulbs WILL BE HOT!!! Be careful. I had my doors open when changing them & did not even think of the lights being on creating heat.

They will take them back, you just have to fill out a 3 question form that you print from their website and send it back. Order the new ones and cross reference the new order # and they will waive the 15% restocking fee. And yes, do be careful handling the hot bulbs....I got a couple of nice blisters on my thumb and finger for a few days to remind me of my carelessness! If you look closely you can see them.

Ok, so I wanted to wait a day and listen really close before I said anything. I haven't heard any ticking outside of the normal flasher function. I do however have Hella LED tails, so that might have an impact. Just FYI. Hope you get everything figured out.

Looks like it makes a big difference. I would have never thought of doing it, but after looking at the pictures I think I'll do it before winter.

My only guess so far is not having LEDs in my taillights. Rednoved, it seems like you've helped confirm that somewhat. Do you have your old taillights that you could swap out and put in the old incandescent bulbs to see if you get the "tick tock"?

I have led bulbs in my taillights and it clicks every now and then. Can't think of the last time it clicked come to think of it. I have my bulbs but I've only had my taillights in and out probably 30 times since I bought the truck and 1 of the little pins has broken because of it. I would do that test but don't want to screw up my lights anymore.

Well, I guess that gives me an excuse to buy some LEDs for my taillights. DarkshadowSTX, did you get yours from v-LEDs? If so, do you mind linking the part number? Thanks man!

Got them from V-leds, where else? Go to page 27 of this thread and you can see my picture of the leds vs. stock. It all depends on whether or not you want to spend what I spent, they are pricey but nothing can compare as far as brightness.

Sorry, but I don't have the stock tails anymore. Did you already try what the Tridon Rep said?

Yeah. It ticks with either type of bulb in the front signals. I'll wait till Monday to see if the Tridon rep has any other suggestions. If he doesn't, I'll order some LED tails and see what happens. Thanks for the help guys.

I went with the 4 LED 'high power' flank bulbs for the LP and they are PLENTY bright. I did have to perform surgery on the driver side housing to get the bulb to face the LP though. No big deal... Less than a minute with the utility knife to cut the notch wider allowed me to put the bulb in "180 off."

And don't kid youselves.., LEDs get plenty hot too if you push 'em hard enough. I blindly grabbed the bulb that had been plugged in and running and almost burned my fingers.
