Well i have been chomping at the bit for the parts catalog to come up for the '09 f150. I really liked the tail gate emblems on them so I ordered 3 of them to replace the ones on my truck fenders and tail gate. 2 are 2 days out the third may take a bit longer. But will post pics when done. I am excited!

 

I was thinking about doing the same thing, except I want the FX4 fender emblems. How much were they and where did you get them?

 

they list for $30 but since i work there i am getting them for $21 at the dealership i work at.

Hopefully have 2 of them tomorrow Will post pics ASAP I have been wanting to get these for my truck since i bought it in Feb. and had the brochure of the 09. I wanted to wait for the 09 for the SYNC but didn't like the new body. Oh well i am sure it will grow on me just like this one did.

sorry guys only 1 came in today and i didn't put it in my saddle bags to bring home! The badge looks awsome! the center is textured like leather or something. the center is double sided tape and the edges are friction clips! no way am i cutting square holes in my truck! so i am going to trim them off. Will have pics up tomorrow night when i get home. I would do it from work but they have this site blocked!

alright guys they other 2 didn't come in today. but I have a problem. I cut off the 2 tabs on either end to put up on a fender with the badge taken off. the badge i ordered was off the tail gate. only have the F-150. guess what..... not wide enough to cover the guide holes in the fender!!!! i haven't given up yet. They do have the fender badges that look the same but have a tag coming off the side that states either XL,XLT,STX or platnum. this SHOULD cover all the guide holes but i don't want the tag on the side. IF they had one that said FX2 that would be different. The part number for the tailgate badge is...9l3z-9942528-c. if anyone is interested. I will post pics shortly.

 

So is the fender badges bigger than the tailgate ones?
