I just got the XL ones and cut the tabs off and puttied the hole on the side where the tab was and scuffed and painted the chrome part.

I also repainted my Ford logo black and reclearcoated it a while back.

how did you paint the ford emblem i would love to do this! they are kinda embossed and think an overlay wouldn't look right

sanded it, put masking tape over it and cut around the Ford lettering and sprayed black basecoat over the blue part, then unmasked everything and sprayed clearcoat.

I have a metallic grey vinyl overlay that I got off Ebay and it looks great. Been on for 2 years now, no problems. Matches my paint.

off a harley truck ad was piece of cake but i dont know how far back they will fit i know the **** is different. the part number is 8l3z-7213-c and retails for about $77

Can someone post photos of the fender and tailgate with the badges removed? I would like to see the holes and the relationship with the badges.

Anyone done any integrated turn signals in the badges on the fenders??

This tape stuff is a super pain in the *** to get off I have used wd-40 goo gone, hair dryer, and hot water. and it still dont want to come off!

i had to use heat gun on first one and got lucky on the other 2. i had to end up useing the little rubber eraser thing on a drill to get it all off. that thing is freaking awsome! Gonna use it to take off the FX2 stickers next.
