I think they're talking about the FX4 emblem pics...I am anyways

 

Please forgive my ignorance, but with all the: will fit, should fit, won't fit, might fit and can't fits in this thread, I am very confused. Don't misunderstand, I appreciate all the information, I just want to make sure I'm clear on what to order.

I have a 2008 FX4 Flareside. Can anyone confirm these are indeed the correct part #s and what, if any modifications need to be made:

TAIL GATE FLARESIDE ------ 9L3Z-9942528-E
RH FENDER FX4--------------9L3Z-16720-D
LH FENDER FX4--------------9L3Z-16720-DB

Also, I saw a picture of another members tail gate. Do the 09s have a 4X4 emblem on the RH side of the tail gate as well?

After reading this thread several times I think that's right as well but was hoping someone would chime in and comfirm

 

that is the 4x4 emblem off a Exploder Sport Trac. Rockpick and a few other members started doing this 2-3 yrs back, and it never really caught on. does look pretty spiffy though

 

i can not confirm your part numbers but your descriptions are correct. dominic at taska ford knows whats going on if you call him.

that was probably my truck. the 4x4 badge is off an explorer sport trac and matches the 09 badges perfectly.

Tasca smashka, I'll have mine tommorow and pick them up on my way to town,So no shipping. I buy alot of parts from my local Dealership so the treat me pretty good.

 

I called 2 local dealers today and both dealers told me a minimum 2 week wait - perhaps longer
