ok I may give then a try b/c there right here in the US and they have a phone number even though the user from Taiwan is a little cheaper and has great feedback also. Let me see how long it took ckforker to receive his.

Got my key programmed, everything works great. Once again, thanks to F150online for introducing me to stuff I never knew existed for the truck!

I told him to cut it anyway and he said that since it would not work, he would cut it for free. I got home and programmed both the key and remote and they work great. I did need to trim the rubber housing on the ignition.

What did you use to trim the ignition housing?

I've seen these keys online but never in person. Can you take a pic of yours and uploaded it here. Thanks

I took pics and put them in my gallery. I'll try and put them here, but I'm not quite sure how to do it.

I will check your gallery but just for you info if you need to post pics follow these steps

Create an account with photobucket.com
Upload your pics to photobucket
copy the img link of your photo from photobucket and paste it here.

One important to remember is that you can create folders in photobucket. The reason I say this is b/c lets say you upload a pic to your main page and you copy it then paste it to a thread. Let's say you decide later that you want to move it to a folder that you created within photobucket . If you do this then the thread you pasted your image link (your pic) will no longer exist. I hope I'm making sense of this

I used an exacto knife to trim a bevel and then I used a sanding disk on my dremmel tool. It works good, and the rubber piece just pulls off to make it easy to work on. I then sanded with 220 grit paper to smooth it out. You can't even tell that it was modified. It makes it easier to put back on if you spray silicone on the rubber part.

I know that I'M asking for a lot but can you post a pic of that tool. I have a Dremmel hand tool myself (the black and decker one) so I'm curious to see which one of the dremmel sanding disk you use.

The key looks identical to his. Sorry for being a retard, but just never figured out how to add pictures, so the instructions are great. I will try it this weekend. As for the dremel tool, I used one of the sanding drums with the replaceable inserts. It is the drum in the middle. I used a medium grit.

I have the dremmel. I was referring to which adapter did you use on the dremmel to sand it down

It's in the picture in the link. The little sanding drum in the middle of the picture.

I had a locksmith tell me since I had only one key that he did not need to program the second to PATS, the Clone it. Has anyone heard of Cloning a key, he wouldn't explain how they did but he said it works.
