exactly like you would the remote and then the key for your normal style keys.

inside the owners manual there is the procedure.

this is from memory, but it's basically like this

for the remote:
cycle the key on/off 8 times
on the 8th cycle, leave the key in the "on" position

within 10 seconds, click any button on each remote you want to program to the truck. make sure you do every single remote at this time.
for the key:
need 2 previously programmed PATS keys

cycle 1 key 3 times on/off
remove
cycle #2 key 3 times on/off
remove
insert new key and turn to "on" position
let sit for at least 3 seconds

remove
test the remote and key after programming. took me under 5 minutes to do it on both of my cars. I love the Fusion keys. If you shop around on eBay, you can find them $20. Most seem to sell for about $30...and well worth it IMO.

I got mine for $6 shipped. But I had to rekey it.

Thanks TYLUS! I tried to program the remote on the key as it says in the owners manual with turning the ign. key 8 times from off to on. The fusion key the the remote will not program.I changed the battery with a new one still nothing.

do you have the battery facing the correct way?

are your other remotes working/programming?

Bringing this back.

Does any year Fusion key work for '04-'08 F150s? Just read the whole thread and didn't see that info.

I only have one key so I have to have the stealership program it for me. $28 for the key from them and $60 to program it, but they guy there has never heard of this working so I just want to make sure I get the right key.

Does anyone know if there's a key with integrated fob that will be compatible with the factory remote start? Like this one maybe?
