Question for any one who installed a keypad handle on an 04-08
My cousin recently bought a used 2004 XLT screw, and she wanted to add the keypad handle like I have on her truck. Anyway it was my understanding that if the truck has factory power locks and the harness in the door for the keypad than it is just plug n play. Well I pulled the door panel and the harness was there, so she bought the handle from tasca and it was 58 bucks shipped. I installed it yesterday and nothing, I pulled the seat and got the code off the BSM and noticed there are only 2 harnesses plugged into it while there are 3 sockets. I looked around and did not see a third harness to plug in. Any ideas? Is there a third harness that needs to be there or a missing fuse I need to plug in?
Pic of the bsm, notice there are only 2 harnesses.

I stumbled across this checking out your recent started threads to re-coop what you have done to your truck recently.
I had the exact same issue on my 2004 truck back in 2011. Matter of fact you even posted in the thread

The guy 'code58' helped me by getting me this activation print-out. I was about to buy a newer BSM but he claimed that the dealership needs to simply program it to turn on. They came turned on standard in 2006+ I have heard from my studies back then. Otherwise the dealership needs to activate the door keypad portion in the VSM.
This was the thread and the post # he provided me as to have the dealership activate the keyless pad portion. As you can see from my thread the dealer tugged me around a little until I provided the work right in-front of them.

There was a post of a fellow who replaced his BSM module with a later model one which was already activated. With a keyfob reprogram he got it active and working. So that could be the second method.
